Opiate Drug test

This question is for duck or canndo or anyone who is a science guy who might have an answer...I recently was drug tested at work, it was a saliva test, I had smoked dope people 2-3 hours prior...so after the accident I had some time so I chewed like 5 pieces of mint gum while eating peppermint breath mints, also while taking the test I had 2 peppermint breath mints in my cheek on the side the stick was on...so that was about a week ago and still no word, I’m guessing cause my employer uses a lab that is doing coronavirus tests right now, and my drug test is on the back burner...my question it will the metabolites break down over a period of time ? Like a test that would be dirty that sits around for a couple weeks come out clean?

Maybe you tested positive for coronavirus when they analysed your sample & they dont know how to tell you

Maybe, tbh I’m one of the lucky ones (assuming my test comes back negative or inconclusive ) since I’m still workin and gettin 40hr a week, a lot of people being let go or hours being cut to like 20hr a week

weird, saliva tests don't need to be analyzed at a lab, anyone can do it, maybe they use one for analysis though.. if you were smoking dope then its definitely gonna be a positive test - depending on what you were smoking you could try claiming you were eating poppy seeds, but that obvs won't work if it was a positive hit for fentanyl or something

there's a "chewing gum" called oral clear which is supposed to trick a test for 30 mins after use altho im pretty sure its just a capsule of hydrogen peroxide, so you could alternately carry a capsule of peroxide around to swish around at a moments notice

was it a bad accident??

Nobody got hurt, I was putting a pallet up on a forklift and the pallet collapsed and product went everywhere, was like 15’ in the air, and no I’m not just saying it’s not my fault I have pictures of the pallet after the accident and it was missing almost all the cross boards, pretty much all the managers agree it wasn’t my fault and nothing o could have done, but it’s procedure

Wait and see. Could be that you have a friend in human resources that just file 13'd the positive test lol. No news is good news.

I hope it wasn’t you or one of the people you smoked with that caused the accident, this is why job sites are so fucking painful to work on these days and you get treated like a child. Thanks!

If you read more then just the first post you’d know the pallet collapsed, drugs or not that was going to happen

Nothing could be done?It’s your job to inspect the loads prior to lifting that’s like a crane op not asking the rigger if he’s done and just lifting anyways , that’s like trying to blame alcohol for the drunk driving

Well it’s not my job to inspect the pallet, how do I inspect the pallet when it’s 20’ in the air and I need to use the fork to pull it down? You are a moron my friend, adults are talking go burry your head in your moms tits

Yeah, how do you expect him to inspect anything when he's stoned...Sheesh!

I have a good friend who USE TO be a forklift operator...Liked to get stoned on the job. Now he only has one leg, and no job...and yes he lost his leg in a forklift accident while buzzed. No settlement either!

Peole like him are why workers comp is so high in certain industries. Then again I never met anyone who longed for the title “forklift operator”
