Baloney detection kit, fallacy of logic number 7, observational selection, also called the enumeration of favorable circumstances, or as the philosopher Francis Bacon described it, counting the hits and forgetting the missesI started by stating facts. No one under 80 in the us has died from the corona virus. No one under 60 on the entire planet. I don’t have stats from Mars you want me to look there?
I’m on a cannabis website so still don’t think I believe in medicine? Wow this guy
Keep waiting on that vaccine tell that to all the people that died waiting for a cure for cancer.
LOLTrump probably knows something that we don't. His uncle was a super genius after all. </sarcasm>

I think I'll wait for more data and expert consensus before buying into this fatality rate, there are two strains on the go a milder form and a more virulent L strain and this needs to be sorted out of the data, the L strain came later and is more contagious too. Also there is the possibility of further mutations increasing virulence and or contagion. There is evidence in south korea that the mortality rate appears to be .6% with 140K tested, so there seems to be conflicting data sets, I'll let the Gods sort it out.. It's still to early IMHO to say what the mortality rate will be, but what's known is disturbing for those who have older loved ones, the numbers above put me at roughly a 2% risk of croaking, but I don't have any health problems except a bit too much weight. I'm gonna take zinc supplements and I take around 2000 IUs of vitamin D, there is good evidence for vitamin D and zinc could be of benefit and no harm, see my medical video posts (they are very good) on Abandons coronavirus thread for references. This might help someone you know. Good luck in ground zero, we're with you, or will soon be in the same boat, empathy comes easily in such circumstances, we're all fucked together this time!Baloney detection kit, fallacy of logic number 7, observational selection, also called the enumeration of favorable circumstances, or as the philosopher Francis Bacon described it, counting the hits and forgetting the misses
First, its not even true that no one under 60 has died from this disease; second, the rest of the world is just beginning the cycle and there are too few cases to say anything definitively about who or how many will die of this disease. China has the most experience and largest number of cases. They are saw deaths in all age groups, from youth to elder.
"the fatality rate was 14.8% in people 80 or older, likely reflecting the presence of other diseases, a weaker immune system, or simply worse overall health. By contrast, the fatality rate was 1.3% in 50-somethings, 0.4% in 40-somethings, and 0.2% in people 10 to 39. "
The above numbers show this disease is viciously lethal to our most elder. It's a fucking bloodbath if it gets into elder care facilities. So I don't know why you want to make light of that.
Who is getting sick, and how sick? A breakdown of coronavirus risk by demographic factors
The new coronavirus is not an equal-opportunity killer. Here's what research has shown about who might be most at risk.www.statnews.com
The absolute numbers aren't important right now. The conclusions on who is most at risk is the most valuable in terms of preparation and concern. Mortality rate could vary by country according to quality of care and the benefits of modern equipment in good hospitals. Also, baseline health of the older population groups are definitely a factor. I read that bit about the strains and it sounds like a bid for grant money but yeah, maybe it's a factor too. In other words, what happens in China and South Korea can be a guide but not a predictor of what happens in US and Canada.I think I'll wait for more data and expert consensus before buying into this fatality rate, there are two strains on the go a milder form and a more virulent L strain and this needs to be sorted out of the data, the L strain came later and is more contagious too. I see yer putting the BS detection kit to good use, it deals with a lot of their blather efficiently.
His kid with a Harvard Law degree had the audacity to get a job that when Joe left office he could earn in about 3 speeches what his kid earned in a year! String him up!That’s hilarious! So Biden understands the danger of having his kid kicked out of the military? Does he know the dangers of crack? Does he know the dangers of his kid sitting on the board of a Ukrainian gas company with no experience other than sharing his father’s name (not my words, Hunter’s) while Joe was the point person on Ukraine?
If that was written as a spoof it would be too ridiculous to be considered, almost.LOL
"Maybe I should have been a doctor", "natural ability for science"
That is damn fine material for comedy right there for sure.
You can’t quote mortality stats from open cases. Mortality stats have to come from closed cases, recovered or dead.I think I'll wait for more data and expert consensus before buying into this fatality rate, there are two strains on the go a milder form and a more virulent L strain and this needs to be sorted out of the data, the L strain came later and is more contagious too. Is there indisputable proof of two strains? I’m reading there is lots of skeptics regarding this study? Have you read anything different?I think I'll wait for more data and expert consensus before buying into this fatality rate, there are two strains on the go a milder form and a more virulent L strain and this needs to be sorted out of the data, the L strain came later and is more contagious too.
