Right lads hopefully I haven’t ended up ruining anything but I decided to start the flush last Wednesday. Plain water with plant magic plus flush. Beginning to wonder when to chop?? Would i need to run plain water or will it be ok seen some advice saying not to let sugar leaves go yellow so im guessing im gunna need to chop. Thanks for advice in advance

I've read: Flush with water for a week, and then don't feed them at all for the last 5d. (At least that's what I've got in my "newbie notes" journal.)

The first 2 pictures look more mature then the last picture. First 2 look like 7-10 days more, the last bud picture looks like it needs another 2-3 weeks. Different plants mature differently even from the same seed batch. Don't worry about leave color changes at this stage, its going to happen, and means nothing this late in the game.

I take it now i started the flush theres no way back? I have been using a loupe to check trichs and about 90% are cloudy so i took it as it wss time t flush. Hopefully i wont hurt my end result now

You won’t hurt anything, just ride it out and wait for them to be really done. I don’t know if you were checking trichomes on leaves or buds, it ALWAYS check them on buds. Also always check the whole plant and take an average of the results. Don’t just look at the top buds that are the most exposed to the environment.

I also strongly suggest looking at the trichomes from the side view not the top. From the top the clear bulbous heads magnify the opaque stalk which can give a very false sense of cloudy trichomes. Dont be afraid of amber trichomes the only way for the plant to reach full maturity is to have enough time and sometimes that means the very first trichomes to form get a bit more mature. In the end it also means the rest of the plant will be the best it can be.

Thats fine, you can go back to nutes if you want....But, you are getting really close I'd say...They look so much better than they did 2 weeks ago.

You could harvest the tops, then hit them with nutes and let the lower buds go another week or 2, and let them fill out, if you wanted to.

Ok mate cheers for that. Wouldn’t hurt to let the more mature ones go a bit longer then no? Just dont have the equipment to dry some and keep some on the go

Personally I'd say it's ready...congrats on an excellent first grow!! Now be careful on the dry/cure! You certainly could let it go a little longer, that is up to you. Have you tested any yet?

You can switch back if you really wanted to, but its not needed at this point, and won't make a difference other then use more nutrients. Your plants have plenty of color in the leaves still, which means if it needs nutes to finish up its got them available.

Sorry to sound like such a noob but not having done this before when/what do you define as the end
The end is when you chop them, when they have finished ripening. Stigma red and shrunk, bracts swollen and fat looking, and trichomes reaching a point of maturity. 100% cloudy is the goal, but won't happen since things mature at different rates, which is why usually people watch for mostly cloudy with some amber to make sure they get the best results. I stopped checking trichomes years ago, and watch for the other signs to line up, and then wait until the plant "looks finished". I've grow 1k+ plants over the years, and one thing I've noticed is they are way more consistent then some people let on. Almost all the plants I've grown have followed the same maturation process. Stigma-then bracts-THEN trichomes if you cut any sooner then fully ripe you are loosing out on weight and over all quality.

You are doing great Bud! Now aren't you glad you didn't chop when you started the thread? Your buds are looking amazing, just listen to Thundercat. You ARE rockin' it. Nice job!
