Your problem probably has nothing to do with watering other then the fact that your water is too low of pH
Fox farm ocean blend is high in Ph buffersSo yeah I know I want it to be 6.3 to 6.8 max
Who is highly recommending fox farm? I highly recommend not using it lolwell, I have no idea what I'm doing. I'm starting to get frustrated.
I'm just ph'ing to 6.5 and giving them plain filtered water. They seem to respond better to the plain water . I ain't doing anything else.
I got the fox farm because it is highly recommended. I am a new grower .
All I know from the jump is how to germinate, how to plant and what ph level I need . That's all.
Yes FFOF can be pretty hot all alone. You can see from the shade of the green...that she's getting enough N...but at the upper limit. It wouldn't take to much to burn your plants now...so careful what you add. And I third the motion to up-pot.After reading around, maybe giving them seaweed extract right now is too much nutrient for them because they are already in fox farm ocean blend
Didn't you just say you were going to stop the kelp and molasses? Your plants don't need it and it's messing with your ph...and you added more? What was doing it was my seaweed mix. My filtered water is 6.5 on it's own. But when I added the seaweed and molases it dropped super low .
I have a ph up and down kit . My filtered water which is a home filter system, brings my water out to 6.0 I add 1 drop if ph up and get it to 6.5fish and definatley under 7.0. I've been mind numbingly watching videos of people using fox farm soil. So yes I was over nuting them and the oh of that mix was way way way to low ( didnt have the ph kit)The PH of purified water varies wildly. I'd not use that! Some brands are 9.0
If you have overfed your plants use DISTILLED water, its Ph is 7.0, but one squeeze of a lemon will tone it down to about 6.3 to 6.5 (one squeeze to a GALLON of water)........distilled will begin to rid the soil of too many minerals, as it has zero mineral content.
It's amazing how fussy indoor growing can be. Outdoor plants most of us grew years ago rarely got nutes at all. This is them after the first night of giving them correctly ph'd plain filtered water. I'm feeling damn happy now lol. It isnt that my watering schedule issue ( thankfully) and I cant wait to see how they look before bed tonight.
Who knew such little plants would give me such a run for my money hahaha. It's weird. They are super sensitive but not at the same time
God ain't that the truth, I also used water from the hose when I grew outside and not problem at allIt's amazing how fussy indoor growing can be. Outdoor plants most of us grew years ago rarely got nutes at all.
It takes awhile outdoors tho to get killer dank, at least it did me. Same soil, same seed, same spot. After 2 yrs it was always very good. I know a guy that has used this method 31 yrs. It is dispensary quality, this can be achieved on your FIRST indoor grow......if grower is intelligent, researches everything and isn't a cheapskate.God ain't that the truth, I also used water from the hose when I grew outside and not problem at all
