Yes, you could be right. In both Airpot and root pouche the roots develop differently than in plastic cups, because when the roots hits the air, they die off. Then the plant restarts new roots from the middle. So this prevent that roots develop in a circle inside the plastic pot. These roots have alot of contact with the plastic from which they cannot get anything. The rootsystem from a root pouche developes much more homogenously and can make use of more soil.

Haven't been at this long but that happens to be something I have been tracking with autos. Found that RQS Stress Killer does great in a 7, FastBuds BlueDream 'matic does best in a 5.

Now testing a photoperoid that is second generation in this environment.

Found 5 seeds in 2oz of Pre98 Bubba. It was the best smoke I ever bought off a dealer.

Ran the 5 seeds at 12/12 last summer, 4 female 1 male. Dusted one plant totally and one branch of 2 others.

These girls are excellent so far in 2, 3, & 5 gallon. Going for 7 next. See how fast she can root it out before flip.

Attempting to determine if an extra week or two of veg is worth it vs total dry weight gained or lost.
 
My little one must have found her sweet spot. Looks like she stopped stretching. Starting to be able to see her 2nd set of leaves. Tiny though. Coming along as should. I don't believe I used fresh soil so I may have to start feeds earlier then normal. I will keep an eye on the little cotyledons to start yellowing. Once they do, first feed 25%. I am also thinking about putting her on some kind of drip system once she gets bigger.
