Yes, you could be right. In both Airpot and root pouche the roots develop differently than in plastic cups, because when the roots hits the air, they die off. Then the plant restarts new roots from the middle. So this prevent that roots develop in a circle inside the plastic pot. These roots have alot of contact with the plastic from which they cannot get anything. The rootsystem from a root pouche developes much more homogenously and can make use of more soil.I believe they were before the fabric pot and basically just do what a fabric does but for a higher price. The fabric pot is like the new model. I could be mistaken, maybe they have another advantage I’m not aware of.
