Oh man!.. We've had 3-4 man crew going for 8-9 days at 8-10 hours a day trimming and drying. Woof!.. Im beat!. We're taking a little break and let these secondaries cook for another week or so. Last time we let them go for another 2 weeks and they put on some extra weight and density. Gonna try to get another 8 lbs out of these lowers, and strip the rest for processors. I'll be glad when this is over and start the next run. I think next time Im going to lower the net and try a more scrog approach. I hate dealing with all that lower crap that never amounts to much. Idealy, I'd like to be able to just harvest everything above the net. Since me and the Mrs. got out of the corporate world, we need to make every gram count this run so we can be totally debt free, and run a little smaller inventory in January... like maybe 90.Damn brother, your dealing with a heavy load, lots of work done with more to do. Make sure to reward yourself with some Miller Lite!
We had a Twister T4 last year, and used it. Customers always complain that they dont like machine trimmed because they feel like it sucks all the trichs off of the bud... which it does. I think the first run we collected like 800g of keif out of the trimmers micron filter with 87 plants. So, we sold the Twister and was planning on doing wet to processors only. Then then outdoor bud came onto market and fucked up the pricing because they made so much of it, and had no place to dry, hang, or cure it. So, we're kinda being forced to do dry, hand trimmed bud to get the most bang for our buck. The market may be different in April, and we can do wet again (much easier).. We'll have to see how it goes.Ever look into a trimmer like a Centurion or something. They are expensive but a grow your size would justify the purchase.
What month is it???... been tackling this bitch for a straight minute!.. We had a two week cook of the secondaries, which turned out great, and have just about another 3 days before we have the room clear. We've had some good hands on deck for the take down for sure! The new clones are transplanted, and timing looks to be good to replant in the next week or so.... Im definitely tired.. I figure we're going to have about a 10% loss due to just too much material to process in time. Next run, we're going to bring it down to a more reasonable number... like maybe 90. But otherwise, its been a great run!,... stay tuned for the final numbers.
Thanks!, and you too brother!Wow man, The Bandit is a running fool! Just wanted to take a second to wish you and your family a Happy New Year and also may 2020 be an epic year for Compound HQ. Sumbitch!
