Ayyway, McCain does seem to have a problem controlling his temper, not exactly a good quality for the job in question, you know?

I was reading tonight that Palin seems to be off running on her own and making the McC campaign folks kind of angry. It sounds like they are already planning on blaming her if/when they lose. This was on yahoo news. I don't know what I did with the link to it, but it was interesting for a number of reasons, one of which somehow, the writer of the article managed to mention Rev W at least twice, maybe three times in this article. There's that liberal media for you.

So McCain . . . mean old man with a bad temper? Yuck. And honestly, I'm telling you that I uesd to kind of respect him. Had he run in '04, I would seriously have considered voting for him. Now, I just think he's a power-hungry, bitter man, intent on getting that office for himself to rectify old grudges--like the SC primary debacle back in 2000. His motives for seeking office elude me and I'm left only with the impression that he feels entitled to it and wants it so, so, so much that his anger keeps bubbling to the surface at inappropriate moments.

The article is supposed to be about Palin screwing up her interview with Katie Couric, and a few other things that have elicited criticism from the campaign managers, but this author keeps bringing up this issue . . . subliminally implanting into the brains of readers. Very clever. (I even wonder if it's a good idea to post it, with that in mind.)

You know, I bet she is intelligent. She's just not presidential material, that's all. I admit that I do not know much about her background (mostly because I just don't care), but her undergrad degree is in sports journalism. I don't recall where I read it, but I did read that she'd never even participated at her school's newspaper. What kind of journalism major does not write for the school's paper?

Still, she probably is intelligent. She just looks like a danged fool to me. And what is this crap about her being so sexy? WHY does that matter? I don't know about anyone else, but sex appeal is nonexistent on my list of priorities for people seeking jobs of these sorts.

I do think it looks like the republicans are going to lose this one.

And don't forget everyone! You can still vote early and make sure that your vote is counted. If you have not checked that out in yoru state, be sure to do that. Also, my state's info said that I had to have a letter, hand written and signed, sent to the voter registration office by some such date; apparently that information is incorrect. So just check with your state and/or whatever party you're voting for and they can probably give you the correct information.

I talked to my cousin in alaska and he said, it was pretty well understood that Todd Palin was the governor....but because of his dui's he could not run....

Between Laura Bush's car crash that killed a friend of hers, her husband's DUI, and Cheney's multiple DUIs, I have to wonder: how did these folks get elected and as the party that was going to supposedly return dignity to the white house? I mean, I'm not criticizing anyone for having a DUI (me too, yes), but still, with all the mud slinging, I just wonder how it is that so many of the "values" voters swallowed that pill.

Yeah, it's looking more and more like a train wreck all the time. I hate to admit it, but I'm going to feel pretty sorry for McCain when he loses. I also felt that way about Hillary when she [FINALL] conceded.

Then again, I am a bleeding heart liberal and my heart breaks for a lot of people. Like Iraqi families who have seen their loved ones killed barbarically and then been raped on top of all that trauma.

Hmm, that was weird. Where did that come from? And no, I'm not smoking anything tonight.
