if you can, grab 2 buckets and keep one full 24/7 of just tap water, it will let the chlorine off-gas and keep the temperature more stable during reservoir changes. I don't think I'd clone this one, try to get it a bit healthier before you do anything else.

Update for today, she is looking tons better, added two fish that can survive the ph, heard the plant can profit from both the fish food and the feces so im testing out just cause, will update !

Plenty of water for fish still, the hose going into the tank isnt very long so

you could have taken that 16 bucks and invested it into a better airpump or stones....it's not going to benefit you're plants any, it's only going to complicate things in your room,where are you getting the water for the top feed system? do you now have to have a second res and a water pump in addition to your dwc res? the dwc system is more then enough to get your plants all they need for there lives without the hassle of another obsolete system that you have to maintain , to each there own but the KISS method is the way to go mate.....

He doesn't have to water by hand in the beginning. You usually stop the top feed when roots has reach the nutrient solution. If you don't understand this you probably haven't grown in DWC, have you?

There's a lot of ways to the finish line. You do a better job at understanding than talk down on others peoples way of growing. No one earn anything from being a skeptic, you won't be able to have an objective view about anything. Happy growing!

Maybe you need to come on in a better way? I can sometimes come on sounding like an asshole. Yes there's a lot of things he's doing wrong. Top feed is not one of them starting out a new clone/plant in DWC.

Fish in a nutrient solutions is something you can laugh at, but we have all been new to growing. I wish you all the best in this world!

So in this thread im basically going to be documenting my grow, im gonna start by listing all the things I have so far in my setup so far

For my plant housing just a 5 gal hydro farm ( plan on adding on with two diy hydro drip dwc 5 gallon buckets for a total of three
6.5 ft x 5.5 ft grow tent
600w hpv
1 x4” exhaust fan
1 x8” intake fan
Two air pumps (three connections)
Strain: Northern Lights (Had to since i just moved to alaska)
Nutes: lucas formula

Got clone from dispensary so she was already decent size

you do no the first 4-6 weeks of veg in a dwc you dont go over about 1200 ppm yours look like there on about 3200

I've never seen anybody do this, I'm interested. Goldfish might be better, they are hardy little fish, but am gonna follow along. If you get algae problems you could even throw a plecostomus in there, haha. Nice man, I like experimenting.

aquaponics with fish just dont have what cannabis needs to grow unless u add nutes which will kill fish so whats the point ??
