I was stuck in Texas from 2013 to 2016 working. I am a native Texan with family there starting in 1828. Raised a Republican in the Southern Baptist Church. Then I wised up. Quickly. The idiots in that state east of Ft Hancock are hopeless politically. The people they elect are almost comic book perfect. Caricatures of pomposity, silly pride over being the best at everything (according to them). Cornyn? Errand boy for the truly wealthy. Cruz? WTF no matter. Louie Gohmert? Sweet Jesus. Joe Barton? He claimed wind is a finite resource and that wind turbines would stop the wind. And people re-elected all of them. Jettison the entire Bible Belt.And Munchkin will give that lying sack of shit Cruz his tax reduction, and make millions doing it.
