Best method cloning

I prefer the bubbleponics/ dwc cloning method. Easiest possible way to go. Just drop em in and they root on their own. Cider you under $30 to build too.

Ok so I have about 9 different tutorials on this subject. But to sum it up. Slice off at / angle put it in rockwool and put it in a cloner. And batabing bataboom. The lil bitch roots! No cloning gel needed bongsmilie. You can tank me later noob.

There must be 50 ways to clone. They all work. Some are quicker and that matters to some folks.

This is my method.

propagator tray, no lid, seed cell. Perlite in every other cell. 1/2-1 inch of water in tray.
Insert clone,wait.

A couple of advantages are stems don't rot even if clones take weeks due to the nature of perlite which wicks water to the stem but at the same time allows plenty of o2.
No need to spray at all.
zero wilting.
No pm or mould issues due to lack of dome.
Its cheap
You can wash off the perlite when rooted if you like and transplant to most other mediums, though rockwool might take a bit more effort to transplant into.

I don't use a heat mat due to moderate climate but root zone temp is key to quicker roots.

A lot of folks fall down when using domes due to having too high humidity, they need to have a reason to root and having high rh makes them lazy.

I have not had luck with this method, the cuttings just wilt and die. I have had luck with Jiffy pellets but I wanted to start some for DWC. I thought my air stones were not making a fine enough bubble and maybe just not enough O2.

I am trying cloning in some perlite and vermiculite with water in the bottom and a hole in the cup just below the end of the cutting.

Less water loss while plants energy is directed to rooting.
I generally don't do that. I just dip them in Vitagrow Antiwilt and let them root. They seem to root faster that way. For me the only reason to cut leaves is because I am trying to pack a bunch of clones in a small space.
