A lot of people i know love the chikamasa. I have trouble with them for some reason and just stick to the blue fiskers with the curved tip.nearly that time for me, so I’m after a quality pair of trim scissors, chikamasa scissors read well , can someone advise me please
I can't do springs, get stiff/sore too quickly.I like these Fiskars Micro Tip (not the version with the non stick crap on them, don't know if that would scrape off in scissor hash), spring assist, no finger holes to wear on your fingers...
Yeah some ppl don't like springs, these are pretty light tho.I can't do springs, get stiff/sore too quickly.
I don't mind the hole, tho if I get two fingers in I'm lucky. lol big hands.Yeah some ppl don't like springs, these are pretty light tho.
For me it's the finger holes I can't deal with lol.
What model do you have? What is better about them? I just looked at them and damn I can get like 5 pairs of fiskar microtips for the price of the chikamasa TP-500S that is similar to what I like to use.I would buy the person i love a pair of chikamasa. Never going back to fiskers. Lol. Not even close. Chikamasa! Worth every freakin penny. I would get the one without the non-stick coating.
Gawd damn, why not just use a hammer. lolThese work perfect nice big grip so you hand doesn't tire.

B500sl. They are lighter. No spring. At first i imagined scissors without springs would be less desirable, WRONG. So much easier on the hands. Its also easier to be more precise and simply faster to trim with. If you are trimming for a couple hours, sure, fiskers will do. But, if you are spending some time trimming , give your hands the best you can afford. Yes they are pricey, but clean them after each use. Maybe grease them for storage. Take care of them , use them only for this purpose, they will last. What model do you have? What is better about them? I hope for that price I can get replacement springs for when they break.
