See you in a few days. Good luck on the GED when you finally get your courage up to take it.
Tell you what bud. For your sake since you're such a smart fella and a class act I'll go a head and post weekly updates, with pics. Should be fun listening to you week after week explaining yourself and why things are magically working out now. Because it certainly couldn't be the water source right?? lol.

"A test for TDS does not measure chemicals or pathogens; a low TDS count does not mean that water is safe to drink."

Ya your EC or TDS of 0 means nothing in terms of pathogens or viruses or heavy metals or anything. Turbididity is a measure of the suspended solids in the liquid, and EC is a measure of the electrical conductivity of the solution. So you could still have plenty of stuff in your water with a 0ppm or 0 TDS reading.

Not sure why the one dude thinks he knows more about your situation than you do, but I think you're on to something. If the change of water helped, then keep it up. Seems easy enough. Good luck.

I currently have a total of 4 plants(2 x GrandDaddyPurple and 2 x BlueDream). On Saturday I put 2 in the city water and 2 in the r/o town water. The 2 in the city water made a massive turn around so far. The other 2 not so much.

This Saturday I'll put all 4 in the city water. I'll take pics and post the progress along the way. Originally I was thinking of going 3 in city water and 1 in the r/o town water to show the difference in progress but decided against doing a counter productive experiment just to prove some random retard from the internet wrong.

Ya ignore dipshit..... But I'm glad you've narrowed down the problem buddy. If you get tired of hauling water, you might want to look into an ozone generator. You can treat your water and let it off gas, kills everthing.

Thx macs, I might just do that as a side project. Tried everything else so why stop now? Hauling water out here does kinda suck and much more so in the winter. But at least that gives me the entire summer to play with things.

yeah man, you had one of the weirdest cases of water issues i've ever heard of.

do you have a college or university nearby? or even a water treatment plant? i'd be curious as to what an expert would say as to what you got in a sample and how to get rid of it. the ozone generator sounds like a good option though

Yeah I have both of those within a reasonable distance. Good idea, it's definitely time to figure out exactly what's in the water. Not sure if I mentioned it before but the water tests at 1650ppm before r/o out here.

Almost feel a little silly now that it took so long for me to figure it out. Only thing that really changed since moving out here was the water source. Think I was fooled by the 0ppm I eventually produced by r/o. Chalk another one up to the book of experience.

1650! You sure your pipes aren't clogged? I've never seen tap come out that high, lol. At least your figuring it out, I know what it's like to chase my tail too.

This is rural Canada and I mean super rural. Population of 50 in the town I share water with and the water is supplied from a near by lagoon lol. Most places like mine(acreage) would usually just have well water.
