It's not an opinion that Trump contacted Russian military agents more than 100 times before the election. You can choose to believe it was for blini recipes if you like but you would be lying if you said so.

Hours after Manafort's second sentencing, the Manhattan district attorney announced that Manafort had been indicted by a grand jury in New York on 16 counts related to residential mortgage fraud, continuing his legal troubles, this time in state court.
I hope trump joins him in prison

She resigned 10 days after the misconduct inquiry was announced.
It goes back to when daddy ran his fortune through shell companies and illegally transferred the fortune to the kids, avoiding 500 million in taxes.
The NYAG already shut down the Trump Foundation.

after the last couple of news cycles , I'm now convinced that congress should go ahead and pursue articles of impeachment against trump and barr, especially that recently Mueller & McGhan have opened up in a factually transparent manner with contradictions,discrepancies and facts disputing the barr/trump coverup.
they also seem more than willing to testify since they put out those unsolicited remarks.
i was waiting to see if anyone would step up, maybe now more former administration officials may decide to step up likewise to redeem themselves an bare witness as well to expose trumps consistent disregard of law and conduct of rampant self serving criminality in office.

Because the Republican controlled Senate has simply become another tool for Trump, Trump remains regardless of impeachment until 2021 Trump has to be voted out, impeachment alone can't remove him. It would appear as a spiteful move to a lot of people. Why piss them off?

An alternative is to keep the mood music sour for Republicans throughout the upcoming election cycle with Congressional investigations in open meetings. The primary goal during the election is to get Republicans out of office, especially Trump. While in session, the House should be driving solutions for other things like education, secure voting system, campaign finance reform, health care, strengthening protections for unions.

Not picking a fight, just saying there are winning alternatives to war. . .

I use to think that the U.S Constitution was this sacred, bulletproof document/ idea, not any more. The Constitution is only sound when the people in power choose to follow and enforce it. I’m a history guy and history is riddled with examples systems going the way of the dodo bird.

A famous 16th or 17th century German philosopher once said, “We learn from history, that people don’t learn from history”. There it is.
