What’s the best bang for buck cob these days?

I’m expanding my grow space a little & need to add another 4 cobs. I already have 12 x CXB3590’s CD bin which I’ve had for a few years now. Ideally, I want to at least match their efficiency.

cxm22's gen3 is what i use, but they did release the gen 4, not sure if 22's, but 32's are available, just not sure where, lol/

Migro uses the new Gen4 in their lights now,

cobkits has great pricing on the 22's gen3 and he would know more about the Gen4 id imagine.

this grow was whack from the start, mag eater early, then over nutes, then over water, ugg, what a shitwreck, strain was ShipWreck. this is using 300 watts, 2pc 4000K and 2pc 3500K.

here is a better take, this is a strain i created, ( fireOG/Lemon Thai) 60 days in vegs, 2 plants, had horrible humidity and couldnt keep it under 70%, so i tore it out, uggg, fkn stupid, but i just couldnt control the humidity.

Growing with LED’s has its pro’s & con’s. I always start supplementing with a little extra calcinit & Epsom Salts as soon as I flip my plants. I haven’t had any calcium & magnesium issues since I started doing that. From that point is just a case of managing the EC.

Your Shipwreck was still nice & frosty though. The OG/Lemon Thai look like they are coming on nicely. What size grow space is that?

Strips are cheaper and have better coverage. But it also depends on your grow area as well.

I run two of these per a square foot @ $7.63 a piece and the SE versions require no holders pretty tough to beat that price and two points of light per a square foot. Only down side is heat sink costs unless you just bolt them to some aluminum strips like I do. Strips are cheaper and have better coverage. But it also depends on your grow area as well.

I've got strips in my veg tent. I would go that way if I was building a whole new light. I don't think they would be a good match with my existing cobs at the wattage I'm going to push.

That price cannot be argued with. Price is a concern but I can stretch a little further than that. I'd rather grab the newer vero's or the cmx.

I mix cobs and strips. They grow very well together. And what kindve wattage I've built from 100w to 1500w and building two now one 1280w and one 1920w. All with strips. They can push anything you need. Lol.

I would bite your hand of on those but im in the UK. Shipping is likely to cost more than the savings from digi. That said I will check on your site before I do anything. I do need to look at some of your active heat sinks as well.
