They in a dark amended soil and were fresh watered but thanks for the concern broHowdy!
On your contest seeds, they look really wet. I know it might be the pic, but if they are damp I would slice slits in the sides of the cups to let it vent.
Hate giving advice seeing what you grow, but I hate seeing seeds die too LOL
Just for comparison, mine are already in their bigger pots (they'll take longer to get going while the roots spread) but I still haven't watered them other than with a spray bottle to mist the tops. The new soil was soaked to make sure the peat doesn't repel water at first, but then I put the pots in the veg room to dry for a few days. So it was 'humid' but wouldn't stick together. I'm looking at day 14 before I actually pour water on them.@H.A.F. Watch what ya see in 2 days as they now have roots to bottom of cup and I add the 19 watts of LED LOL
Yup many dif ways for sure here is a shot of my soil and roots .Just for comparison, mine are already in their bigger pots (they'll take longer to get going while the roots spread) but I still haven't watered them other than with a spray bottle to mist the tops. My theory is that the dry-ish soil makes the roots go looking for it instead of it being delivered and them getting lazy When I do water I do it with the coke-bottle domes on to make sure I don't get too close to the plant.
Just different ways of getting started. There's always smoke at the end!
