I’ve always viewed it positivelySo there’s a debatable issue that needs clarification?????
Is it good or bad when leafs are praying ?
Outdoor plants “pray” just the same.Grow outdoors and let me know if you see a plant pray. Not being a dick (context lost over the interweb), but try it and then you'll know. We are trying to recreate natural conditions, just to an optimal range.

We don’t get many days here in the 90s, but my outdoor plants will definitely perk up when happy. If your leaves aren’t yellowing and your plant looks healthy I never get worried. Otherwise you are correct it can have to do with light stress/heat. Especially if they continue through the dark period.
I want to see a picture of the OP's "praying" plant..
You have to define the OP's opinion on just what "praying" is.....Likely different then mine, and yours...
No answer till I see that!
YesI think I need to raise my lights???

The first sign of too much light is often praying leaves, see this site:

I don't see a point in raising it, that plant looks very happy and healthy. Until the last few months, I had never seen someone say that "praying" leaves was a negative thing. I was taught that it was the sign of a happy plant when they go from sleeping to praying over the course of the day.
I read through most of that link, and didn't see any mention of "praying" leaves or it being a sign of to much light?
I'm not trying to say you guys are wrong, but I am surprised to hear this new train of thought.
