What is happening to some of my Seedlings.. The temperature is 28degrees and humidity at 57% and the CFL lights have a fan blowing then so it's cool yet some seeds seem to be dying off .. It can't be the soil as it's all organic and other seeds are doing great . Any help would be appreciated guys.. Overwatering? I did give a lil too much last night but 1 Overwatering detrimental?
I thought you had all the answers on germinating seeds at least that’s how it sounded in your earlier post. That soil man is shit where do you keep getting it from?

If there is somewhere in your yard that the weeds or plants grow larger than usual, go grab some topsoil from there, put it in a pot with no amendments.
Just make it moist, not wet. and plant seeds in that, you should not have to water more than a tablespoon at a time for the first week after germination.

It's not germination.. It's my new indoor setup that's the problem... The soil comes from the hardware store mica sold as organic potting soil

IV got all the seeds to grow but now all the new equipment and stuff my indoor Seedlings are struggling.. Outdoor is fine tho in the same soil

Can we agree from those picture that overwatering cause them to droop so bad to where some are on their side prolly dieng?.. That is my main problem atm I didn't want to create a new thread some of u guys are helpful here

After germinating maybe Thousands of seeds, some seeds being $150 per seed... The best way is simple.

1. Paper towel (damp, but not dripping with water) on a plate with a bowl covering the top..
2. Try to keep it around 70-80 degrees
3. Store in a dark place
4. Usually takes 2-5 days for seed to pop.
5. Plant into jiffy cube or soiless blend (sunshine mix#4) a sharpened pencil head length deep..
6. Put under a 6500kelvin flourestant light with a 24 hour light cycle..
7. Do not need any nutrients besides mag for first few weeks..
8. Do not allow any hps, or just natural sunlight (summer or fall)..
9. Try not to take any clones to early before it developed sex hormones.. General rule is 3 gallon pot , or maxed out in one gallon pot.

The issue is for starters you’ve got them in something way too big in a soil that looks way too dense they’re basically starving to oxygen. The trays I referred you to is full proof mostly and with rapid rooters they maintain a good air to material ratio to prevent more or less drowning.

6. Put under a 6500kelvin flourestant light with a 24 hour light cycle.. This will insure highest chance to get female
7. Do not need any nutrients besides mag for first few weeks.. If you get any stress feeding it will increase chances of becoming male..
8. Do not allow any hps, or natural sunlight (summer or fall).. These types of lights can cause the plant to be a male..
9. Try not to take any clones to early before it developed sex hormones.. General rule is 3 gallon pot , or maxed out in one gallon pot.
Good advice.. but they are feminized seeds.. What is the best ballance of soil for veg.. U know the 5-2-3 type thing on the soil

Organic is never recommended for newbie.... And I recommend a soiless blend (sunshine mix #4) ..

1. PH is way too low, get it up to 5.7....
2. overwatering is apparent, rewater at 5.7 PH and let them dry completely before proceeding any further..
3. Sounds like you got nutrient lockup as well, but it could be from low PH

It’s much simpler to plant them directly into a medium of some sort rather than dicking around with the tap roots and risk damaging them.

I had to transplant them as when I got home from work the soil in the small jiffy was dry as powder..im out for 9hrs a day so a larger pots is the only way for me to keep my smaller trees moist through the day.. I may be lacking good oxygen as while I'm building my grow room my Seedlings are actually in my room windows closed dehumifier on small fan on.. No direct clean oxygen for them atm maybe

I personally have never once damaged a tap root.. The soil holds too much water, this blocks oxygen from getting to the seed.. since roots live on oxygen you want a media that allows mild air flow, this will give you a much stronger root system, resulting in increase chance of plant survival... Also since the seed will NOT drink the water fast enough, this increases the bateria levels in soil GREATLY, this can increase chance for disease or mold and slow root growth..

what scientific proof do you have for any of this? Plus cloning is easier when they in veg rather than when they’ve built up flowering hormones.

Your best method to raise PH?.. Should I get some of that PH up PH down grow formula?

You take a clone in veg, just not to early when hormones are still developeing.. They always have hormones for both sides, the father and mother. Plant produce nanners from stress and hormone changes..
With that being said, any stress from say imbalance in nutrients, or from the light spectrum, cloneing to early, or the light cycle can cause hormone changes.. At the very least this can slow down growth and determining sex

Besides that science, I have only ran couple 100,000 seed

That’s not any real science. I use a one part nutrient for all my grows and the same spectrum start to finish 3k with enhanced red. Males true males not hermies are going to be male period. Same with true female plants it’s a genetic lottery your playing unless you clone. I take clones early from new seeds to find what I want from any seeds I’m running. Simply label what plant those clones came from to I’d them. You can take clones later once the start building up flowering hormones but they take longer to root.

Lol
They don't generally just build flower hormones from getting older.. this is triggered by the light cycle NOT AGE... And how can you explain Dutch master reverse? it changes the hormes to increase the chance or femlale flowers.. Genetics determine the chances for this.. not random!
They do build up as they age it’s why if you flip to 12/12 from the start they don’t just flower too early and they still just sit and veg until those hormones are built up. For running so many seeds you haven’t looked up much science on the aspect of growing. Yes they made that to suppress hermie plants to force them back to full ladies but last I checked they haven’t sold that stuff in a while. Male and female in plants is just as random as a human being born male or female and in those rare cases when you can run into both which they do make hormones to suppress that as well. Not sure if it’s the Dutch that made it though lol.

You can flower clones right away, haveing hormones like a teen just speed up that process... And your using a one part and a 3k light all the way through, hahaahaha.. you literally haven't stated any science to defend your view..
