You follow Greenpoint thread, so I can make it very simple.
You see people commenting all the time in how a strain is Stardawg dominant or say GSC dominant, if the cross is Stardawg x GSC.
No arguments there I hope, as many many people claim this knowledge freely.
Let's look at that one cross only.
Stardawg is Chem 4 x chem D bx
And GSC is Durban poison x granddaddy purps X Og kush ( let's say)
Stardawg breaks down into chem 4 which has been though to be Mexican x Afghani then that crossed to chem D which is added more Afghani. At the very least this is the lineage.
GSC is Durban a pure landrace, granddaddy purps(purple urkle x big bud?) X Og kush( kush hybrid?)
So each of these strains are hybrids, with different origins, but many can spot those strains in veg.
Hawaiian strains are from all over the world, but once bred in Hawai'i by locals they take on certain characteristics that make them recognizable.
