Your post is spot on. I do note the dissonance between the two paragraphs. Both are true, yet your first paragraph talks about Bugeye, the private school twerp who votes Republican because entitled people are, in his mind, virtuous because that's who they are. They have to protect their entitled status while denying they have one.
The second paragraph talks about the mystery of why a town with 50% poverty would vote to sustain the entitlement of Bugeye's class of twerps. I don't get it either
