11x reg Maverick (Goji OG x Stardawg)
11 x reg Chinook haze (Tangerine haze x Stardawg)

The Maverick are usually £70 alone haha.
Some breeders go crazy with prices though (even for regs) I've seen packs for £100's. Way out of my price range.

Yeh I was disappointed with most the sales this year. Greenpoint had 50% off everything, others offering 10-20% seemed a bit weak. I seen attitude had a massive selection of freebies, but I have most of them already and I don't need anymore single seeds at the moment.

I'm hoping to have quite a few seeds in my currentt grow, I attempted to pollinate some lower branches....time will tell, it's my first attempt.

I found 2 Seeds in the very last nuget of Girls scout cookies, from my last grow. I think with such few seeds from the whole plant it's not a fell Hermie? definitely didn't see any sacs or bannanas forming at any time.. obviously it did somewhere though.

Ignore the herm debate and consider most seed will be fine to plant. Fingers crossed you get seeds :-)

For me hermying is in the genetics of what your growing, massive lights leaks may cause it but will probs ruin it, other than that if you have a random hermie I think it’s genetics myself not something your doing so you have to be patient, tis unfortunate though

I once wrote that the hermie trait 'is an independant protein seperate of the sexual genetics thats harwired and unbreedable".

Mostly its an awesome trait that allows the plant to vastly shorten the distance the pollen travels in the bad and wet years.

It is noticed that stress is one of the main triggers hence why most posts are from newer growers.

I find it almost impossible to get one now but i miss the free seed.

Question time.... how do different people deal with temps in the summer in your tent? Much harder than growing in the winter! Humidity can also be more of an issue in the summer I’ve found, so what are the different ways people deal with it?

Cooltubes/ decent extractor and cold air intake. I prefer summer to winter lol

I switch my lights on time to be over night during the winter, saves having to run the heating as much.
Humidity in the summer last year was terrible for me. Still working on what I'm going to do this year.

Luckily I have a new veg cabinet, which is holding its temps and humidity nicely.

Also, check out this mutant. The entire top of the plant is just one big leaf. I love weird plant growths, will be fun to see what it does.

BDECB1FF-64D3-4F09-AFBC-8557E262A269.jpeg I splashed out on solistek 1000w de lights and a controller. And a variety of bulbs. When temps get too high the controller dims the lights or can even turn them off if you programme it to do so. Plus they dim by 40% every 3 hours to mimic cloud cover and give the plants a little rest. Huge extraction is essential to keep the humidity lower in summer plus a dehumidifier for the spikes when lights turn off. It’s a struggle!

Humidity is never a problem unless it hits 70 or over, i have an aircooled light but i found it made little difference to barebulb so i run it without the glass.

Uk Summer night temps are fine for hps, to be honest as long as heat cant build up you shouldnt have any heat issues regardless of temps.

Make sure thermometer is not under the light, this is a false reading caused by radiant heat, we only want to measure ambient, transpirational cooling can deal with more than we give in radiant heat.

Wider area light futher away, canopy more open to hit lower buds more airflow.

Never blow wind on plants, quite un natural and most of all numero uno heat resistance comes from tip top healthy plants.

I just keep a window open so no build up of heat and my plants are sweet most summers :-)

They are a great bit of kit, the lights piss all over the gavitas I’ve used for a few years. Plus the array of bulbs might cost a few quid but man they make a big difference to the final product.
I aim for 40% humidity for last 3 weeks. It really helps them pack on the trichs and is good insurance against mould and pathogens. 70% humidity is ideal for plants but not so good right at the end. Also many carbon filters struggle to work at such high humidity.
