Illinois medical marijuana card wait time

Applied electronically + deducted the fee: 2/7(day 1)
Date on letter w/card attached: 4/13 (day 66)

Tomorrow after the torture session at Physical Therapy I will go to my dispensary to start getting some relief.

Just spoke to my friend at the dispensary I'm going to use. They contacted IDPH for me and found out I was approved yesterday. And my card should be here in a few days.
IDPH recieved 2/20
Approved 4/23
62 days from receiving to approval
I'll post when card arrives

Wow...from 2/20??? They’re really speeding up. I’m starting to get excited now. I’m 8 days behind you on 2/28...

Seems that they are speeding up. It took about a week from when they first started processing to approval. It be nice to be able to go get some medicine by the end of week. I've been going with out pain meds for about 5 months now. Which was my choice. Don't want any of that poison in me.

Wow that's awesome!!! I'm so happy to see that they are speeding up. When I first started following this forum I saw ludicrous wait times - over 100 days! You got approved in less than 70... Now things are getting really exciting!
 
My application was received on 1/22/18, check cashed 3/23/18, received word today that they are waiting to hear from the Secretary of State on whether or not I possess a CDL. After that confirmation my info will be sent to the next/last step.

Wow!! That's crazy. A January applicant and still no approval. I'm so sorry to hear that. I thought 62 days was bad.

Medicard clock is showing 57 days for illinois... if this is close my check should be cashed this week.

Yay!! Informed delivery is showing my card and my caregivers card are coming today!
Applied online 1/29
April 9, received letter I was missing a form. I emailed that day and resolved it.
Total wait time 85 days, including the hiccup.

Hope all of you get your cards soon and find relief!
 
I called today and they told me it’s still a 90 day wait on the phone. I had appointment 2/15, DPH received everything 2/26 and said the started processing my application today 4/25 and she said I should have it in 3 weeks. I hope it’s sooner!
