hey guys so this is pretty weird
I have a strAin here called bruja purpura now every time I water them they do this crazy thing where the stems twist and fan leaves twist. She’s very much alive and sometimes they will go back to normal but now I’m starting to wonder if this is ok. I looked everywhere online but can’t seem to find anyone with this issue or is it an issue? It’s doesnt look to good but they’re strong I can tell I just don’t know what they are doing. Here’s some pictures

Have you ever thought of switching to fabric pots? I noticed a very big improvement over the buckets you are using. Ph ok? drainage issues?

Its weird,
Someone asked about light?
You don't have bulbs just hanging randomly in the canopy?

I could see the plant following light.

Other than im at a loss.

It does look like it is just twisting around itself looking for light.

This is one of the most interesting threads I've seen because I've never seen anything remotely like this!?

I hope we find out, I'm suspecting genetics but only because I can't think of anything else ..what the hell?!

Not much luck finding info on the strain or breeder so yeah I guess I'm going to vote genetics for now but I have no real idea LOL

try warming the feed solution next time 24c and see what happens.
Either way I think your plants have a bit of afro in them lol.

Looks like they froze or something you say this happens every time? do they ever stand back up? Going to need info pH feeding, all that .. this might be genetic? I don't know never saw it either
Yea it’s weird I’m watering at 6.0 feed water feed. The next day they go back to normal and they look beautiful I’ll post a pic.

Ok so here is the info on the strain and breeeder. This strain is called Bruja Purpura from Ocean Grown seeds and it’s a limited release witches brew x Ninja fruit I’m hoping to get a purple pheno I think I have 4 females out of 9 plants but we will see in flipping next week.

it could be uneven development of the xylem? the plant is moving more water to one side of the branches than the other side, so the side with more water curves over the side with less? then when the water is better distributed around the plant, the pressure is both relieved and somewhat equalized, so they straighten back out. or it could be gnomes, fucking with you

How much water are you using per 5 gallon pot(are they 5 gallon or smaller)? Also you say have to water every other day, what are your max and minimum temperatures hitting. Are they all the same clone or are they all from seed? One last thing are they getting any dark cycles or you running 24hr of light?

Fucking strange....Only time I have seen twisting even xlose that extreme was due to severe ph imbalance. The main difference is that in the case I'm thinking of the overall plant health didn't look nearly as good as yours does and the twisting was really only on the new growth. Have you been checking the pH of your solution after adding your nutrients?
