its probably just a marketing thing.. my boy grows n sell commercially... so he go for bag appeal first cause he get more money... its definetly a kush, as I smoke a lot of different ones for my chronic pain due to the cbd content of a lot of the kush and landrace indica varieties.. its not purple though... Im wondering if they didnt just get some cold whether, or too much nutrients on purpose to change the color??

good stone anyways would be a good breeder

Pink Kush is a genetically modified organism. It is a tetraploid plant in which the seeds were treated with Colchicine. Pink Kush is popular in the Fraser Valley of BC and it is clone only. It is very susceptible to spider mites and a horrible producer. It is excellent tasting and very potent when grown correctly. I may be wrong but I believe it is Afghani x Thai and then doubled using Colchicine. I think it is either a remake of the original UBC Chemo or maybe even the original itself renamed. It has a very heavy leaf formation indica type plant with some sativa present as the leaves are not as dark green as most indicas. It has an eerie look to it. The flowering time is up to 10 weeks which I suspect is caused by the Thai genetics. The strain appears very old and hence the DNA is diminishing. This is reducing the flavour, potency and making it very susceptible to spider mites. The pistils are pink under a black light. I have tons of pictures of the real deal on my website billybudd.zappersoftware.com and Billy Budd on Facebook. I do have some Fuma con Diablos x Pink Kush seeds where I used the Pink Kush as the mother plant. I was attempting to refresh the genetics and create a better producer. Note that the seeds will be triploids and will not mate with regular diploid or tetraploid plants due to chromosonal mismatch. Pink Kush is probably better in a Sea of Green setup and/or hydro as it too slow to veg in dirt. I estimate the THC content to be close to 40% due to higher density trichome formation. I thought it was the best smoke ever. I grew it for about a year but would never grow it again except as a breeding plant. The tetraploids are definitely much stronger but not commercially viable, so be warned.
