Reflective vs white room for quantum boards

Orca was the biggest waste of money I ever spend. Flat white paint works well for me and better than the orca.
The orca alternative im going to try is used to line bathroom walls.
Its wtaer proof, permanent, and costs 20 bucks for a 4x8 sheet :blsmoke:

And it made a HUGE difference over the white paint i had on my floor .

Like the room was MUCH noticeably brighter

So after my run is done im going to line my walls with it :)

I think white would be best used under the canpy

Actually even regular mirrors work very well. I saw a comparison on another forum where several materials were compared and the mirrors came out on top.

Really easy to clean too. Cleanliness is an aspect people often forget regarding reflectivity.
Good point - back silvered mirrors would be easier to keep clean.

idk guys and gals, mylar, mirrors, tinfoil, got real trailer park round here fast. just saying, but have a look at the Grandmaster side by side hps / led thread and their setup and tell me the Mylar they have on the walls makes a positive difference. Shit is blowing around like a sail. Mylar creates hotspots, not the light source behind it. Sure I submit that LED has lower wattage's and therefore this effect would not be so pronounced with a QB vs HPS, but its the same reason people dont use tinfoil or mirrors, regardless of light source. Seems like this is a 20 yo discussion that was already put to bed. Flat white.
