i was just making a point and no, I've never been to Norway. it looks awesome though and I'm sure the people are awesome and in their own slice of oil and gas funded heaven. keeping 25% of what you earn isn't very appealing to me, so I wouldn't want to actually live there but visiting would be super fun. when I'm done exploring the us I will put it on my bucket list for sure!

they don't pay 75%. it's income dependent- perhaps the wealthy pay 75%? the average citizen pays 45% and gets everything- even eldercare..we pay 35% and get social security and medicare. you have to supplement your medicare too it doesn't cover everything.
