Hey guys, do I get some kind of trophy or achievement points for making Yoda's ignore list?i am putting you on mute you aren't worth my time.

Maybe not in so many words, but I'm sure the sentiment is represented somewhere within his work!Is that Shakespeare?
I may have gotten into an us vs them mentality here but I am the opposite in the other sections. I encourage new growers and try to fend off others who trash there grows regardless of their skills or lights. The worst their plants look the more protective I become. If you felt like you were getting a chilly reception at first, chalk it up to people being cautious. We never know when someone's going to turn out to be the next Yoda. As long as you don't trash people's lights or grows, you'll be welcome here.
A very admirable mindset, and I commend you for it.I may have gotten into an us vs them mentality here but I am the opposite in the other sections. I actually have just decided yesterday to become less involved over there fighting trolls and instead offer my advice to new growers without challenging trolls and move on to other threads. Don't need the stress.
I agree trolls will be trolls.
This is what confuses me.
Are there a larger % of trolls here than in other sections?
I mean, if I saw a bunch of hps growers and a few trolls included beating up on an LED guy in the other sections. I would stand up for the LED guy without hesitation. If you and other hps guys were badgering him I would take his side if it was an unfair assault.
That does not seem to happen here.
Anyway, just find this section interesting. I'll follow along and spend more time seeing for myself. Only been here a few times so it will take time to form an opinion.
How do you feel about molybdenum?I just answer alerts and cruise the new posts list.
How do you feel about molybdenum?
Maybe I should create a new thread...
It just seems like there's no consistency in commercial products.
Just the usual house-cleaning in which we engage when Yodaweed shows up. He's just been way too shitty to people and has burned every bridge here, so we let him know it. That said, if he ever showed signs of changing, I'd give him another chance.Damn! I feel like I posted this blubbering at the wrong time lol. just read the last 10 posts after posting.
Anyway, back to the topic... I really don't believe any one light technology is capable of consistently outperforming every other light technology when it comes to bud quality. I do think that buds frost up sooner under LED, and that seems to be borne out by posts from other LED growers here. But if we're talking about the cannabinoid and terpene content, I think genetics and grower skill have more to do with the quality of the end product than the light source.
Could be right. They say this stuff about cmh too. But in pretty extensive testing I am sure it is just that the buds look frostier under more natural light.
I noticed it the first time I slid a flowering plant over from hps to my new cmh lamp. I was like wow! Look how frosty it looks under the new light!
They didn’t stay greener. Get leafier and even show more colors than hps.
Those are typical plant responses to a more balanced spectrum heavier in blue light.
Of course the stuff made in the USA still works!Unless you are buying new HID gear, there's no reason to pay more than $100 for a 600w rig (digital ballast).
I know MMG likes warranties, but I've never had a ballast go out. New or used. And I've got some antiques! So old they're made in USA and are in a steel box that's gotta be 1/8" thick!.
Why are you expressing your sexual fantasies in a lighting thread? Very odd location to be discussion where you like to put your genitals. How does my dick taste?
It is definitely more about genetics and overall growing environment that dictates the cannabinoid and terpene output. Light is only part of the equation, remembering that light is just a fancy word for photons. Photons being the energy that excites photosynthesis and cell regeneration. Cell regeneration is fairly binary, it either happens or it does not. Water, oxygen and nutrients all play a big factor. mh/hps gives the plants photons, tons of them. but mh/hps also give off a ton of photons that are not absorbed or used by the plants, where led photons are more targeted, and therefore produce far less 'waste'.Anyway, back to the topic... Again with focusing on me. I never brought my test up...you did again and again. Why?? All I have done is ask you for the side by side you said were everywhere. That is it. Stop deflecting and answer where they are. If they aren't everywhere...then just say they aren't.You are the only one trying to prove anything here. I have only shown supported information.
This is exactly what you tried to do with me on the other thread. I don’t even feel your time to challenge the lights in your room was well spent. Or even necessary at all.
And I already complimented your grow. It looked great on both sides. Only sufficient usable light is needed to grow plants. There are many other factors.
You proved you have the usable light needed at less watts. And that’s it.

Why is asking for side by side that you say are everywhere not answerable?
The HLG kits are nice, but it's still gonna cost about $700 to rock a 5X5 with 600w of quantum boards.I found plenty of info when I was looking. Put some time in if it is important to you.
None of the links are still upfront on google. Much new research being done on specific colored led shows first now.
If you mean side by sides with do it yourself cobs. They are really only popular here and Icmag. And with growmau fans.
I meant with mass produced led Grow lights.
