Spider mites

Im growing in 50/50 coco/perlite

Ive got a fairly mean collany of spider mites going on...

What ive found is neem oil & detergent can help get rid of them,

Has anyone got and tried ways to get rid of them before i buy some neem oil? or would that be the best way to go about it

Neem oil mixed with dish soap. Spray everything.

Sweet, how many times should i apply it?
Over the course of a day? 3 times? 1 in the morning 1 at lunch 1 at night?
Do i spray the walls too?

I had alotttt of spiders recently, i used bug b gone, neem oil x dish soap, dr. Doom, isopropilc aalcool with water, mega wash. Its all good method but u wont get rid of them doing this, it only stop for a week or two than they reappear.

The only method ive found to gedt rid of them definitively is daily showering the whole plants with the pot on a plastoc bag so they just dont fall in soil aname back on plant. Its the only way i finally killed them once and for all!!!

Are you indoor and in flower/veg or outdoor and in flower?

Spinosad if your flowering in or out.
Neem + soap if vegging.

If vegging inside, neem, soap wait 3 days then hit with spinosad.

Your not following proper scheduling then.
You need to spray every 3-5 days for a couple weeks with some of that stuff for it to work properly.
A lot of it will NOT kill mites on contact. Very few products will do that.
eggs are your worst enemy. They hatch very fast. that is why you need to stay consistent with the spraying.
Always wash off the leaves inbetween sprays.

U probably right but i have over 300 plants in rotation i camt really wash and wash constantly. Spkder become a huge problem when u got alot of plants especially if u using net for flowering because u cant really gedt them out of there.

So what i did, i showered mothers again and again til they got clean so the rotation became clean too!!

But i know u right on your method but its a damn hell of work when we got alot of trees!!

Toss it and start over. It sucks but smoking spiders or spray is disgusting and selling it is unethical.

If ya wanna vape some spiders lol... I've never had spider mites but if it was me, I'd be chucking it out. Clean everything thoroughly and start over.

You could wash it and smoke or vape it but personally I wouldn't even put it in my compost.

This is absolutely correct and the best recommendation you'll will find anywhere..........all I would add is to remove the worst and most infected of the leaves too.

You don't want to use it late in flowering. ..........I would spray the plants, maybe 5-7 into flowering just before budding starts. It's effective for about 45 day too so you'll get deep into flowering before the problem services again (or doesn't). You definitely want to give the chemicals a chance to break down in the plant to make it safer to smoke. So I'd look at maybe Mighty Wash which you can use up til harvest- it may help some.

Ok ive got a game plan.

Regardless if i have an infection or not ill spray my babys with neem + soap at 20days old then wait 3 days and hit them with spinosad then wait till im 5~7 days into flowering then hit them with spinosad & i should be fine , yeah? touch wood
