5 babies almost one month old from germination.

In a 48x48x80 inch tent
1 gallon pots
Roots organic original soil
400 watt mh
68 degrees

Will this be enough space for all of them?
I think I want to scrog. Should I top? If so, when?

Any comments/suggestions/criticism welcome

Why not SOG them instead of scrog ... They will only get so big in 1 gallon bags.

I just left veg to a certain point then flip them . If you do that they should fine within space.

1. Enough space is relative to how long you want to grow

2. Top now if you want to top.

I would transplant into a bigger pot. For that size tent I would go with 3 or 5 gallon pots and transplant your babies in two weeks, veg for another two weeks after that flip to flower. I would also consider getting at least a 600w light. You can use a 400w, but if your canopy is full when you flip, you're going to get much better yield from a 600. 400w's are fine for veg, but I wouldn't run them in flower. 68º is a little cold for daytime temps. If you get a 600 if would probably sit around 75-80º :)

I am doing SOG STYLE growing lately and with some sativas just let a main cola stalk form.

I dont get really any lateral growth with heavy sativas mostly spearlike buds. So it works out pretty good .

I do plan to bust out the 600 hps when I flip. I bought a ballast for it but I think I want to get a digital one. I bought a shitty lighting kit from apluschoice (don't) and used nothing in the kit but the rope to hold the light up.

I know it's a little bit low in there but they are in a garage semi in the elements. This New England weather has not quite transitioned to spring yet. In the summer I will be worried it will be too hot. I did buy some beast inline fans that were way bigger than I thought they'd be. Definitely a noob playing it by eah heahh

Thanks for the insight man. I was thinking of doing uncle bens top for them then scrog which I thought was brilliant. Then I read uncle Ben disapprove of it so I'm trying to find the standard to scrog his situation.

Im not sure why he would disapprove of it. I have done just that many times and have gotten great results.

I'm not sure he disapproved. He just gave me advice based on his experiences just like you man. Although I think I'm looking for more production. No offense, but your plants look a bit bare compared to some of the other plants I've seen. What kind of lighting do you have? Side lighting? I don't think I'm doing side lighting that's why I'm thinking scrog might be best for me.
I was just checking out some dude's grow with just cfl side lighting all around. His buds ran all the way down his colas which I find intriguing

My profile pic is week 4 of a Platinum cookie strain, which yields between 1.5-2lbs a light and is currently my favorite smoke. I have plenty of strains that have pulled 2lbs+ a light, so way to put your foot in your mouth. Of course side lighting can be beneficial, if you know how to use it correctly. No offense, but you should be taking in what people tell you and learn from it, not critiquing shit you clearly know nothing about.

Misunderstanding man. I thought you were talking about xmatox said sorry. You didn't mention scrogging so I wouldn't think you were talking about what uncle Ben said. 2 lbs a light nice work

4 of these would overflow you're tent. She's 32" across. Topped once. Auto Cheese grown under Citizen COBs.

Beautiful plant. Chances are one of my five will be very big too. It's probably bad to try and scrog multiple stains at once right? Not to mention some my strains prob won't be ideal for scrogging. Is scrogging w indica dom not as effective as sativas?

Strain doesn't matter. You just veg longer to fill in the screen. Not a fan personally. I like mobility. Pulling plants out of my closet, rearranging, rotating and ease of watering win out every time.

7 weeks old. Going on 3 weeks since UB's topping method. Think I'm going to start decreasing light time by one hour a week now. All of them are showing their sex now and are getting close to flipping I think. Planning on scrogging up to the tallest plant's (super lemon haze) second node and will give the smaller plants a boost under their pot so they can reach the canopy. Also would like to transplant to 5 gallon pots before putting up the canopy. Currently in 3 gallon pots.
