QUESTION, YES ANOTHER!
... 3" under and between my (2) 23w 6500K/1600 lumen cfl's it was reading around 9-10,000 lux
3" under and between my (2) 42w 6500K/2600 lumen cfl's it was reading around 4-5,000 lux
(and 8" under the poor 300w LED only was pulling about 4,000, if)
both sets of cfl's are positioned exactly the same way, in a splitter, but they are from different companies.
HUH?
...
What's confusing is that the same wattage at 6500K looks brighter to your lux / lumens / ft candles meter than the same wattage at 2700K due to the composition of the photons.

all the controversy over legalizing marajuana, all the bull going on~people against it, wanting to limit the TCH in our grows, the amount of our grows, people protesting smoke shops in THEIR neighborhood, still fed. illegal, blah blah blah. I am still on guard and slightly worried about my legal grow in mass.....yet i saw on the news that they are now considering "shoot up safe houses" where heroin addicts can go and get clean needles, shoot up, and have medical supervision by nurses and EMT's trained in giving narcan? WTF? Kids and elderly are starving, and they are going to spend millions on heroin addicts?.....Makes me want to open the doors on my grow tent and say FU.

Nothing about American government or drug policy makes sense anymore.

Until Citizens United is abolished by whatever means necessary, this will continue.

Note to self:
If you add molasses to the flowering nutes reservoir along with things like Mammouth P, make sure you use it all in one session and wash out the reservoir right away.

I thought I'd save the last few gallons to use a day later and it started spawning who knows what in the reservoir!!!!

Harvesting Helen my little hubbabubbasmelloscope today. She might not be big, but she SURE lives up to the "SMELL" in her name. Holy skunky sweet cannabis... my house stinks, my hands stink and are all sticky....lets see how much I can pull off this poor little girl. If I had not trained the life out of her I am wondering just how big she would have got. "Just let the plants be and get used to their full potential." ~thanks bosgrower!

I am GOING to have to dry her in my tent with the fan and scrubber on full blast or all my neighbors will come running. (Hey, I dont have enough for everyone.)

Started germing (2) Sensi NL autos fems yesterday~ graciously gifted to me by axle. One already has a tap root 1/8 in long :-) THANK YOU HON!!!!

Yes it does. How much is debatable but the difference can be significant.
blonde moment. i will mark my darn calendar "2700 day" next time.

OK....got almost (2) wet oz off my little HBSS....not much, but darn stinky :eyesmoke: This plant sure as sh*t will not win any stealth awards!

Im trying a different dry method (instead of hanging branches) I cut buds off and trimmed nicely, then put them on my 8 layer dry rack inside my tent. (8 layers, I wish. Didnt even fill up one.) will flip them around a few times a day so no flat spots. Im drying sugar leaves and little tiny buds in the bottom of my tent to make goodies later, and bagged up her branches/stems to make tea.

Since I cant put anything scented inside the tent as it will affect the taste of the weed, I was thinking what i could do about my house smelling like a dispensary! First, I decided that trim and dry day would be cleaning day inside my house. Mr. Clean sure as heck temporarily covered THAT smell! Then I found a dryer vent scented pad I had, got an elastic and attached it to the end of my ducting~ since it is blowing into my house. (cant vent outside, no no) House smells like drying laundry now.

Both of the NL auto fems I got from Axle have germed, and they are currently on my counter in solo cups under a 42W 6500K lamp. Here we go again :-)

Please excuse the DIRTY NASTY carbon filter sleeve in below pic, time for a new one.

You just supplemented with CFLs didn't you? I think you said your main wattage was your LED. Don't stress over it. Some people liked to run some blue lights to keep the stretch down. But considering my plants, you may not want to listen to me anyway.

My brown thumb is showing through. My plants have brown spots all over them. I think it's from Bad pH issues. It's amazing they're so big. It's been 4 weeks since their first 3 fingered leaves. I want to get them healthy before I flip to 12/12. Problem is, I just switched to 18/6. They are not going to like 12/12.

yes, i use the mars 300LED, and then each plant gets a cfl hanging over it during the whole grow.....at least until i can get another LED. NL auto ladies are in their solo cups, just waiting to see their pretty heads. I have the HBSS drying in my tent so I cant get them in there yet. Have you posted pics in the sick plant forum? hang in there with your plants, you will be fine!

Just out of curiosity, has anyone else had bees trying to get into your tent? Be interesting to see what that honey would do :)

Bees indoors? Are you sure they are honeybees?

I used to keep bees. The only time they even approached was when I was cutting the honey out of the combs. Even then they weren't persistent.

More likely they are wasps. Wasps don't make honey.....

That's what I thought at first ... but was definitely a drone

Drones don't collect honey. There sole purpose is to breed with a new queen. They die in the process but hey, life is short. ;)

The workers are all infertile females.

But hey, it's good to hear they are out and about. So many people spray poison out of fear of mosquitos. But they are destroying bee populations.
