image.jpg I am wanting some ideas on how to set up my grow tent and I have no idea where I should put my carbon filter on the bottom and run my ducking up to the top because I'm only using a 36 x 36 x 72" Vivoson grow tent I have a six-inch Vivoson carbon filter and a 600 Watt vivoson air cooled lamp ..

You want from the filter through the light and out the upper vent in the tent. I'd put the fan after the light so it pulls from the filter through the light and pushes out the vent. Keep the filter at the top.

FAIL! You have to PULL the air - NOT push it!

Every turn you make it travel, will reduce the effective cubic ft of air moved!

Best to go 2 fans! One for the hood cooling (straight throught - I understand the "turns" here). The other for the filter alone! Run that straight out to the fan pulling the air.

Pull the hood air too!

If you don't mind me asking what's the difference and pull in the air and pushing the air do that I've never done this before so I don't know what's right and what's wrong and he help me give would be greatly appreciated even some pictures on maybe how yours is set up

You pull air through your fan so your not over working it trying to push air you'll see a difference once you change it around.

My space is limited though and to be able to put the fan after the lights I would either have to put the fan outside or move my lights over and they wouldn't be centered any more would it not being centered matters

I've never used a carbon filter so I don't really know about that, but I've always heard that you want to push hood air to avoid the smell leaking? Pushing the hood air causes positive pressure in the hood which won't result in a leak, but pulling the hood air would cause negative pressure and with some hoods you run the risk of pulling air from your grow into the hook.

If it's a normal exhaust for the room itself then pulling the air is definitely a huge fail, but doing so with hoods can cause potential smell leaks.

What Doctor Who said that it is better to pull air. Rather than to push it.. because at first I was pushing the air as you can see the pictures and now I am pulling the air

And it's drooping the were watered yesterday I have potting soil for miracle grow in the one that drooping in the one it's not drooping is "top-notch" soil.

Pull the air make a vacum when zipped up the tent walls should look like there sucked in. I use a carbon filter and i hang it up at the back and hoover my light below and just move it up as i go.

Looks fine mate its only a baby leave it along and let it do it thing lol just make sure its fed and warm youll be sound
