Seems every time the Republicans win office our Gas and Oil prices go thru the Roof
I will go as far to say the Prices of fuel will increase to over $5.00 a gallon for gas, and Propane and Natural gas prices will also increase.
Our fuel prices have been stable for 8 years now, Lets see what will happen now. I know see it before and it is coming again.
I really hope I am wrong, but as with the last 3 republicans fuel prices went sky high.

I see oil over $100 a barrel and gas over $4 a gallon here on the east coast and close to $5 on the west coast by summer.

Trump is gonna make his supporters wish Obama was still president.

wow Blunted 4 lyfe, already there not wasting time are they, for sure I hope I am wrong, but by the looks of it, that will be the norm for them, and we will end up paying for it,
Prices been pretty steady for the last 8 years which has been very nice, but with the rising prices of Fuel and Oil all our food, and everything else that Trickles down from that will increase also,
I really hope I am wrong,
wait and see I guess. surely not holding my breath though.

So how does the president have anything to do with the price of oil?
Do you feel that Obama was an oil friendly president that keep production high and demand low in order for us Americans to drive, drive, drive the economy back into shape?

I fucking hate most republicans but what are they gonna do, pass a law that that says every gallon of gasoline has a 2 dollar homeland security tarrif?

A war that disrupts oil supplies would do it.

An import tariff would do it.

A ban on Iranian oil and tariffs on countries using Iranian oil would do it.

A bubble economy might do it.

OPEC restrictions on oil production would do it.

Looking the other way when gas prices are fixed by general consent among gas producers would do it.

Lots of ways to increase oil and gas prices. Because what's good for Exxon is good for the Kleptocracy and Russia.

I think the republicans would want cheap oil. We buy more vehicles, drive more, etc, putting more money in their pockets. Domestic oil production and energy independence is their mantra.

Domestic oil isn't profitable at current prices. Exxon doesn't like cheap oil. Neither does Russia. Trump doesn't pay his debts and publicly insults people who expect him to do so. Now that he's in office, it's all about Kleptocracy. Buying more vehicles and "putting money in their pockets" applies to schmoes and small business. He doesn't care about that. The kleptocracy will make theirs regardless of how the little people feel and will disparage the puny people who voted for them expecting their own lives to be better. The right wing voters got shagged.

I know profits are higher when the price is high.
I live in a red state whose economy is based on oil revenues. Low oil prices are killing us!
However, I would like to draw attention to the fact that many of these huge oil companies are multinational corporations whose headquarters are not even based in the USA.
