the conversation was about better 1818 replacements , 32's are next he'd stock BUT that's a guess
the price on them 22's is dirt cheap for lotsa photons add in his riu discount they are in the teens in price

I'm doing a clone/mom/seedling/genes build that can be used to flower if needed in a small tent
as well for seed runs if needed with the 22's run soft @700
22's offered a better Bang 4 Buck over 1818';s ran the same way

I like where you are going with the low current drive for them

Hello. I have question.... I want to drive one cxb3590 with one HLG-40H-36B 36V 1.12A max.

A CXB3590 at 1.12A does not take 36V butt less i thought. This setup will almost max out the driver. Is this a reliable setup?

Another question... Are the HLG- series B version drivers dimmable to 10%, so that a 200watt driver dimmed to 10% only give 20watt?

Yes that will be fine no worries
Also you can dim the cob if you want/need with a few choices on implementation.

I was hoping someone could maybe explain how a 1-10volt dimmer works and a few other questions about my system.
I went with hlg 120H-1400H to drive a row of 3 3590 36volt.
I'm not using dimmer but I have wired it up and it works.I just raised lights for now and get more coverage.Had to go up to 22 inches above canopy and might have to go higher.
When dimming using 0-10volt does it reduce current going to cobs or lower voltage?
Also, when using 0-10 volt dimmer does driver use less wattage out of wall?

Current gets reduced to cobs when dimmed and wattage pulled at wall reduces accordingly. You could dim all the way to under a watt I believe with that dimming style

This is very interesting. This article describes why it is a good thing to almost max out the HLG- B series constant voltage drivers.

This is particularly interesting to me.
I run constant V drivers (HLG-240-42B) but I run 36v cobs. When buying drivers I was told the 36V couldnt handle my CXA3070s, but thats not true because I under driver them below 36V.
Now I have the cursed dead spot in the dimming
