I'm sorry but i can't see too many doctors being intimidated by someone from HC that is NOT a Doctor. I bet that person get their asses rubbed red quite a bit.
Doctors just loved being questioned by lesser educated folks.
Something doesn't seem right here? I can't see this being done for long. As far as I know doctors only listen to the college...maybe I'm wrong but.......ah

Ottawa bureaucrats have absolutely no place telling doctors how much of a drug they can prescribe. If your prescription got changed because a bureaucrat talked to your doctor, that would be possibly illegal and unethical behavior on the part of HC (no surprises) and possibly the doctor. It could be grounds for a further court case and unconstitutionality. I can just image those idiotic CDSA agents calling a doctor who doesn't like to be pushed around.

LPs have to call doctors to confirm they actually saw patient X, but they don't confirm the dosage. Somehow I feel this is violating some sort of patient doctor privileges...

Called this morning to get an update and was told it was approved and sent off in the mail today. As a side note, I opted out of LP starting materials, I also wasnt part of any of the former programs either for anyone wondering about the whole needing to get LP starting materials

How could a Dr know how much to prescribe when no clinical trials have ever been performed? Snoop Dogg would be as qualified as your Dr to arrive at an amount. It's actually ridiculous. He might as well put various amounts on a dart board and throw a dart at it. I can tell you right now you don't need an oz a day. Well, if it's HC weed maybe, being total shit grown by complete jackasses. But aside from that, you would never need more than one joint every 2-3 hours. What's 12 joints, maybe a 1/4. You just LIKE smoking dope, obviously.

What if I just want to eat/smoke the top buds from each plant and then dump the rest? What if I want to juice it in the AM for someone that doesn't want to get high.

NO! HC does not have any authority to determine, or limit dosage. Why bother with doctors at all if HC calls the shots? Maybe ask them if they take as much interest in the health of all Canadians....I haven't heard of grandma's arthritis meds being controlled by HC. How are they going to limit dosage when it's removed from the cdsa and you can buy a bag at a retail store without prescription? They are grossly overstepping their mandate and perhaps laws in order to keep home grow sizes down. Releasing false information, (ie: studies have shown 2 to 3 grams is the max. effective dose...where is this study), contacting individual doctors over private health matters (health care is a provincial responsibility), conspiring with LP's and doctor colleges, etc., etc. is so far beyond acceptable it should be criminal.
Doesn't my theory of claiming autonomy over my body and health...and medical treatment sound like the way to go? I'm holding onto those mmar pinks real tight...10 g/d, 49 plants. If and when they fuck me over for that, I exercise my right to autonomy.

Yeah a 1/4 a day I could see, but an oz seems like overdoing it. There's such a thing as too much Cannabinoids building up in your body. It can suppress the immune system making you vulnerable to infections.

Damn, you are right, that is some straight "FUCKING BULLSHIT" right there. Been 5 weeks today for mine, maybe I better call to check in on things.
