Oh wow I really like that dank zappa
yea the dank is fulfilling my wishlist for a hashplant, it's got a good frost goin on, and it still has a ways to go, I've been growing her for about a yr, but this is the first flower (unexpected drama..)Oh wow I really like that dank zappa
Went to google it and saw there's a site where seeds are actually auctioned?!?
The world is ever full of surprises haha !
What's she like? Have you been growing her for long? I take it these Bodhi seeds become like family heirlooms if they're good
Yup cutting the 10th. Been given most of the garden just water and the leaves are getting worse fast but it will make harvest no problem. Just frustrating not being able to fix it and it's only a problem with the 2 plants, so maybe it's the strain. Thankshmmm..
well..
to be honest it's hard to say, it's possible it may actually be a magnesium toxicity issue rather than a def, almost all the inputs you are using will have mag in it, and that can in turn lock out calcium, which is what i'd be leaning to.
I've had leaves go like that when I used too much BSM.
being this far into flowering what i'd do is give them a "chill-out" time, like a week or so with nothing but water, or perhaps a AACT with minimal molasses used.
But bio-live, kelp, BSM, alfalfa, and guano should cover damn near anything.
Probably not much you can do to remedy that, this late in the game, but it won't hurt her too much, and from the looks it looks llike it'll be down in mid October or so anyways
Here is a shot of my nasty little chicken crapper/roost. This is what it looks like before I add another layer of hay. This time, I am ready to put it into the compost pile! I have 2 stalls in my worm bin that are ready also... I usually fill this bin to the top but it keeps shrinking down, but thats good!yea the dank is fulfilling my wishlist for a hashplant, it's got a good frost goin on, and it still has a ways to go, I've been growing her for about a yr, but this is the first flower (unexpected drama..)
I did give half a pack to a friend and he grew it out, but he is sorta new at it (did a good job, but just much differently than I would)
anyways, that plant is in the shade too..
so it, under lights in gonna be MUCH nicer.
honestly everything Bodhi has been great, haven't culled anything, although I may end up culling the tranquil elephant, but I hesitate to do so just yet, only because I have yet to grow it under optimal conditions (mites, shade, etc)
the pineapple hashplant is my favorite
I think..
the pink lotus has that "chunky" large trichome quality that one of my tranquil elephants had (which I lost)
damn dude, with that and your rabbit manure/compost you won't be needing any nutrients for a LONG timeHere is a shot of my nasty little chicken crapper/roost. I tried to layer it and I used rabbit manure, dry leaves/chicken hay, worm compost with a rabbit manure base on top. The pic does not do it justice! It is a 8'x8' slab...damn dude, with that and your rabbit manure/compost you won't be needing any nutrients for a LONG time
that being said chicken shit is HOT, possibly the hottest input you can use, and by hot I mean it MUST be composted.
It's not enormously high in nitrogen, percentage wise, but it'll burn the bejesus out of plants if not composted first.
But you got the right idea, you want something with a LOT of carbon to offset it, like sawdust, straw, or dry leaves
It doesn't? looks like a composting paradise to me!The pic does not do it justice! It is a 8'x8' slab...

that looks badass man, keep adding leaves to it over the first two months to replenish the melting leaves, the more leaves the better, i'm fairly certain that's gonna be a RICH compost at the end.I tried to layer it and I used rabbit manure, dry leaves/chicken hay, worm compost with a rabbit manure base on top.
