Nice mixed grow, 400 hps

hello everyone, I'm finally back at it and this time round I'm gonna fill the tent.
13 autos, mainly Mephisto stock and I got 14 free seeds (all autos) with my last order, so I'm running the last of them.

As follows:
2 X Walter White by Mephisto
2 X 24 carat by Mephisto
2 X sour bubbling crack by Mephisto
2 X auto critical, breeder Unknown
2 X bubba yum auto, breeder Unknown
2 X bubba kush auto, breeder Unknown
1 X auto so mango, breeder Unknown

I'm gonna run the 400w hps till week 5 then swap out for 600 watt till week 9. I know all plants will vary in height as I will be using any pots i can get my hands on. I only have 4 X 5 gallon smart pots and a multitude of other plastic pots. (None of which are 5 gallon nor could I fit 13 that size in my 4 X 4 tent)
I am also growing in a soil coco perlite mix and the only nutes I have are canna coco, so my question as follows;
I can get the additives range (rhizo, boost, enzyme, pk) for 108.00 Aud on eBay for 250ml bottles.
Would this work still in a 60% soil, 30% coco and 10% perlite mix?

So out of this mix of seeds i had 7 germ, of ehich i kept the strongest 5 and gave the rest to a mate to see if he can coax the seeds to germinate. No big loss.
I have 2 sour bubblin cracks at day 5 and two walterwhites on day 2 above soil and 1 24carat on day 2 also.

Sorry bout the lights, will get some more pics out of tent next week when they have grown a bit!

Alright.... sorry about delay as i fuct up cos im a dopey prick!!!
I forgot about feeding from day 1 with ma coco! Plants werent doing anything, and then it clicked, i ammended and started feeding immediately but all in all i believe i have lost a solid week to 10 days due to the stunting!
Anyways, all the seeds were shithouse execpt the mephistos thank christ! So they are all 22 days old now and starting to run. Feeding up on 3/4 strength canna coco a+b one day, then 1/2 strength seasol root builder the next. Repeat. 2ltr per plant. Coco drying out within the 24hr period. Once preflower commences and has gone on for 1 weeks stretch, i will do a nice flush for the girls.
Not gonna get the biggest plants but will add a few more beans soon to do a good focused grow.

I would run the 600 all the way man honnestly. I dont think it will be that much more than the 400 in electricity wise. 5$ more a month? But your getting prob 25% more light and power. I used to run a 400 but once i got ahold of a 600 i was satisfied with that lol

Yeah i know. I have run 600 on my last grow and 1000 on the one prior. I just cant justify the extra power for these 4 little plants at this point. If i had a tent full, id be running 1000w.

Is your ballast a conversion? can you run your 1000 in your 600 bal?

Powerplant... good old stuff! All my stuff is very old, i just update the bulbs!
Of which i wanna try something else soon.
Have never used a hortilux bulb. Would it be a better performer than my old son-t agros???

P.s.... im in Australia and our everything is really fucking dear!!!!
My last grow of 87 days at 18/6 with 600 watt plus fans (in, out and circulative) water and air pumps and airconditioner blowing into intake.... equated to a $658.71 power bill! To return 2.2 pounds( off 25 plants. Lol ) isnt bad but still very expensive

So day 30 today. Last 8 days all plants have shot for the sky and i hope they keep going! Wanna get at least 60cm out of them.



Have trimmed two shade leaves off each plant that kept springing back to original position after tucking, and once i took em off the plants all started to grow! All showing pistils now, latest ive ever seen on an auto. They appeared on day 27. Lets just hope that the next 49 days are fruitful!

Day 37 and really starting to take up the food! Wating 5 mls per litre of canna coco and 2.5 mls per litre of yates liquid potash.
Will not be using the potash again for a while. Hasnt burnt plants but just wanted to give these girls a production boost as they come into flower!



Also, temps here today are in the high 30's and i have no air con. I went out for two hours and when i got home i opened tent to find the very start of leaf canooing on tallest plant and a hygrometer that read 40 celcius and 45% humidity.... lucky.....

Plants look good man. I have been checking out a few auto journals and they seem to do well in the heat.

Can't canoeing come from high N, also? Mine canoed really bad when I choked the life out of them this last N overdose.

I like to beat the shit out of em so they know whos boss.

Edit: got a better look at the pic, definatly a little heat curling and not from N.

Yeah N tox will cause some canoeing , Me and merce know all about that I beat the fuck out a couple of my latest autos too. Still dealing with it.....
