I was trying to back light this Peruvian so you can see the torch. Home depot special that had fake flowers glued on it.

I have 40 acres of sand and prickly pear cactus. Yesterday I saw a huge one under the shed where I park the tractor. I'll try to remember to snap a picture.

Here is the Prickly Pear cactus under the tractor barn. I have them over at least half of my 40 acres. Now if I could just find a market for them. . .

I have this patch I call GN. I've been to it every couple of three weeks all summer, and didn't notice this until today. Tells you how common it is for me to see cactus.

I had no clue that from seed these would grow so slow at first.. Their both 2 now.. Lol

they are edible, and good with eggs. the fruit is salable as well.

they sell at produce markets and flea markets.

trichocerus bridgesii seedlings, lophophora williamsii, lophophora caesepetosa the big pupping variety.

there's a little black container with some of ny lophophora seedlings. the lophophora caes. only flowers every few years. iv got more in my veg box.

there's two williamsii iv taken cuttings from to trade for artwork and food haha theyre in the caes pot. dunno if you can see them. they look a little goofy.

Nice. I thought about getting Williamsii my self but I didn't because how long they take to grow. That was before I bought the San Pedro's lol. There startin to finally take off

I'm told these can grow like two feet a year after they them selves reach a foot tall the top of this one got broke off but it's starting to grow a nice pup
