no really...I heard of one old lady that compared living in a retirement community and living in a luxury cruise ship and turns out the rent and living expenses were cheaper on the boat...the love boat, haha
Depends on what your into man....not really much to do out here xcept get into trouble....lolIt's pretty up there. Totally worth going camping, lol. But is there really as little to do as it seems out there?

Wrong.....so cal does not have better growing weather than ANYWHERE in nor cal! That is 1 thing northern cali has sewed up.......outdoor mecca! So cal is loaded with Cowboys depending where you go, that shocked me when moving here. LA SUCKS. San Diego is the best!! So cal has the best growing weather by far. Lived in monterey on the central coast and sucky fog blocked the sun all summer till noon.
Yeah I used to live on a farm up in Mendo. Which is probably where I'd be if I wanted to be straight growing lol.Anywhere north of sacramento & im sure youll love it. Especially if your into growing. HUGE cannabis culture here....literally....you either, work for the state....your a rapper....lol or you grow weed

When I lived in the Bay Area we thought of LA as NY West.born & raised in sactown....still here....
My advice to anybody moving here from any state OTHER than NY....is.....dont! Ca for the most part is a PIECE OF SHIT!....luckily for you, your moving from the only state id say that is shittier than cali, so welcome sboard & enjoy the stay lol....
First off....were all assholes out here! Were snobby & think were a lot cooler than anybody else....(some of us are lol)
Second....hope u like the heat.....cuz were a hott mothetfucker out here...
Third, stay away from south sac...north sac...the majority of east sac...& most of west sac. All hoody as shit......
Pretty much everything except weed is illegal.....lol....
Vehicle emmision laws are rediculous....
& every damn thing is expensive.
As far as the cannabis culture goes......i dont think you can find better outdoor climate than northern cali.....the further north you go...the more beautiful it gets....
Most people think of cali & think palm trees...blonde women & surfing....however thats just so cal.....for the most part its all agriculture, farmland & mountain ranges with cities spaced out miscellaniously......
Everybody says were so "fast paced" here...but again comming from new york, everything is much faster im sure....
Oh yeah, get used to hearing folks say "hella"........cuz were "hella" cool like that!
When's the last time you've been to Times Square?Yeah i guess men riding bicycles in public stark naked in front of children is pretty awesome.......if your a fucking PED! lol
Are you a rich kid with unlimited parental funds?Sacramento is just the start. How can i say im going to stay there when i haven't even traveled to the west? I like SoCal a lot more just cuz thats more my vibe.... I like skimming and wake boarding. Sac is just where im making a start.
Can't wait though.... Legal weed saaaaan.... legal grow saaaaan. Fucking can't wait. Whats the nicest ocean beach closest to sac? Pref flat shores.
Dryer than norcal? Where are you...death valley? Temecula...sd...all way more humid than up north....the more south you go the cooler & more humid it gets, unless you head south east to the mojave....Its not because of the weather... Unless fog and cold and snowy Springs is good. Or early frost in the fall not to mention the rain. I grow outdoors all year round except for January in so cal. Any place up north that can be done?
So cal is sunny and dry nearly year round. How can that be beat??
New york? Never. ..lol never been further east than fla..When's the last time you've been to Times Square?
Expensive! Better off looking in lassen county...You want beautiful and affordable, near Sacramento? Placerville. It's at the start of the mountain range heading into Lake Tahoe.
I hate Sac town, personally.
Theres a few beaches in the bay area worth visiting. I like dillians beach & the monterey area is gorgeous.......down south beaches are where its at though, pismo...newport...ect.Sacramento is just the start. Dude there is forests in nor cal for a reason. MOISTURE! There is no forest in so cal, because it's a desert. Which are known to be dry. And yes so cal is dryer. Are you saying it rains more in San Diego then in norcal(mendo). Yes there is monsoon moisture here for a few weeks. BUT not this year. Thinks I have to worry about rain or frost come croptober? Up north they do..Dryer than norcal? Where are you...death valley? Temecula...sd...all way more humid than up north....the more south you go the cooler & more humid it gets, unless you head south east to the mojave....
It was 110 that same week in so cal...it's 98 today where I amKeep this in mind dude... More north you go..the hotter & dryer the summers get.....& the wetter & colder for winter.
Down south temps are lower but slightly more humid...& the winters are a little more mild. Last year sacramento broke its own record getting below 16degrees....we also got to 108 in june this year lol...
