I take it you don't like the k5-xl1000?

I'm in Australia, can't seem to find the cxb3590 on any online shops.

How many lights did you get for 10k buddy?

I'm thinking about buying one to compare to HPS for myself. Then I will replace all of my lights if I'm happy.

Happy to spend the money to get the best light.
If it competes with my HPS I'll be wrapped with the power savings ( lights and air con ).

Any Aussie growers with a place to buy the cxb3590?

Or any feedback on the k5-xl1000

That expenditure got me 25 modules, each consisting of four CXB3590 3500K CD BIN 72V chips, driven by a Meanwell HLG-185H -C700B. These have since been assembled into the baddest flashlight in northern Colorado, lol

check out the kits. theres a thread on this forum of cutter kits., ill try to find it.
I'm checkin it out now.

Hope there a "setup system" ready to buy.
Not really interested in DIY or Kit jobs personally.
Just want to plug and play like the other system that I suggested.

Thanks for the link buddy!

From what ive only recently learned is that COBs leds are much better than those other leds, im not sure what that one is like, im a noob to cobs.
Cobs have better penetration than most of those coloured leds and especially anything using epistar leds.

However i might be wrong about the one you showed. it might be excellent. someone else might be able to telll you.
Just stay away from mars hydro and anything with epistar leds.

It's never easy, lol
It would be great if it was just a ready made unit.
Instead it looks like it a DIY thing.

Doubt I could be bothered if I can't buy the whole lighting system pre made.

I guess I have a ton of reading now.

On the advice of those in this thread and elsewhere in the LED section, I dropped well over $10k on CXB3590 based lighting.

...and covered it with my first crop.

COB LED is quite simply the finest lighting I've ever grown plants under indoors, full stop.

That is all.
those price tags make my wallet cry. must be nice living in Colorado. here there is a lot of expense and red tape if you want to be a commercial grower here in nevada

I'm curious why you always say that.
Why do we have to go to your thread to search high and low for barely anything in there. YOu don't show your cobs. You barely show anything to do with them. YOu used to be a loud mouth and not even have them. Recommending and boosting in every thread possible before you ever had them. Then you finally go them, god forbid you post some pics or results. Only in your thread is what it appears. But when you do go there...there is nothing.

Am I missing something?

When I have something to sell, I'll be sure you're the first to see it.

UNTIL I have something to sell, I'll be keeping things close.

EDIT: And maybe I won't show you first. The way you treated Steve of Johnson Grow Lights was pretty fucking unprofessional, to say the least. So maybe you can take your attitude somewhere else. :bigjoint:

Sell as in finished medicine???
I'm trying to believe that you have some intention of helping the community. Not just taking and being shown the way and then profiting off ideas of others.

I go back too...
You mean this guy...
How is the efficiency of these vs the crees gg is using?
That's what I thought. I would love to make my own with those cree that gg is using.
GG you guys get the best strains. What do you think of this light? www.spectrumkingled.com
I really like your diy unit but am not sure if I could build one myself. I'm waiting on the new a51 and still considering the at600.
There is this thread...

Any company that is willing to have a demo at the Max Yield Show with 2 broken fans, knows nothing about what makes a quality light. Cooling is number one. In my opinion, almost as important as the LEDs ( in some cases more important).
