I don't think they would schedule an announcement to ask for an extension. It also doesn't say if it is for medical or rec. Bastards are gonna leave us in suspense for the night!

This should be interesting...4 people who have limited knowledge are going to make an announcement and then answer questions about it....are the roundtable discussions already done? what could they possibly have to announce pre-August and pre-legalization/....hmmmm....

I cant imagine it would be good. Aug deadline for med. april deadline for rec. they shot down decriminalize. They havent introduced any motions for any of the above. It can only be about how can we more strongly enforce current prohibition.

I can't see that, either. Why would they invite that grief when nobody is forcing them to?

Hard to say what they have to announce. It will be no doubt well thought out, address Canadians concerns, demonstrate an unbridled leadership role that we can all look up to, and some great selfies too.

Then in about a week it will be back in court again...... \Oh Canada...

It won't be asking for an extension, that would be trackable via the court website and Tousaw/Conroy would have mentioned something.

It's probably for rec since Blair is there, MMPR is entirely a Health Canada thing since it's not 'law'. If I was to indulge in wishful thinking it might be something that effectively decrims without tabling decrim legislation, maybe like Obama's 'directives' to not bother state medical cannabis people.

More likely that it's something on the dispensaries / raids, high profile add to the 'task force', or concrete timeline. Could be anything, but more likely to be a rec announcement.
