Hey man, exact same cause of bud rot for me. Those damn worms. You can go check your plants at night and the led lights illuminate the fine silk strings, thousands of them coming from the branches of trees down around your plants. These worms get in the center of your buds and eat tiny little tunnels and shit everywhere and your right, they will cause bud rot overnight. And it spreads like wildfire. Have you found a way to stop these bastards??? I've used BT in the past and spinosad but with the numbers i'm running no way in hell could I make it out there every other day or so to spray all of my buds.Kick ass post bro! Glad we don't have the copters as bad on the western end, but they are here in late August and September. Spot on about the rot and I found a lot of mine was caused by worm shit. When I started to control the budworms I noticed a huge drop off in spots of mold here and there. Of course, as you say huge indica buds suffer here from the heat and humidity and you really have to keep an eye on your stems and molding sugar leaves under huge, dense buds.. Shit it's presently 72% humidity at 10 am, in the oppressive range btw especially with the air temp close to 90 decrees out right now.
Does sevin work for these assholes? I always use sevin personally, the liquid kind in veg all the way up to flowering since it isn't systematic. But if it works I sure don't care to wash my buds off afterwards and dry them out. It beats losing the crop.
