I'm with evergreen. I harvest by hand. I pay 2 friends an ounce for the day, and they cut 1lb in 6hrs.
I use german hair dresser scissors, rotate them in and out of an alcohol bath when the trichomes build

I have rheumatoid arthritus, I get about half a plant done trimming then my hands are finished. I flower 12 big plants and 3 to 4 medium ones every cycle. I use a 19" spin pro knock off hand crank trimmer. I also am a BIG fan of using the wire blades vs the big knife like blade to trim. Only prob is the wire blades break off often, and I've yet to find replacement wire replacement ones that fit. Spin pro have a round center part, mine are "D" shaped. A little jb weld fixes it. But would love to have spare blades for backups. My flowers always come out great. Never have any complaints in about 4 yrs.

If anyone has a source for 19" wire blades with a "D" center, PLEASE pm me. I've searched for years and no luck. And the shitty ass grow store u bought it from is utterly useless. Great at point of sale, after the sale they could care less.

I've searched for 2 yrs now. All that's offered anywhere I've searched is round center, not the D center that I need. I had 4 different grow stores look into it as well, all failed.

But thanks. Lol

I bought a trimmer from centurion pro last year.. it trims for me 60lbs / hr i trim wet. it cost more than 1200 but it saved me soooo much time and i didnt have to hire and pay randoms. it was so worth the money, i hate hand trimming. the trimmer looks wicked, cuts close and saves me hours and lots of hand pain haha i would never go back to hand trimming

If you can't find them anywhere 1 alternative is to have new ones made, there is bound to be several CNC shops in your area...can be pricey however, if you find industry friendly shop guys you can probably trade bud for labor...and if they like your fire, who knows maybe you guys become the people that improve upon the trimmer industry and make bank!

Bare hands and fiskars. It helps to hang them upside down (kind of like an extra hand) at a good comfortable level where you can pull leaves off in my oppinion.

yes those bowl trimmers do work ok as long as they have a blade and not a wire. it will work . I used to use on of those bowl trimmers way better then by hand. by hand quote me (FUCKING SUCKS ) sit there for 2 or 3 days trimming. no sleep .
