Ebay they sell the entire jar for like $10 a pop but fuck that, flat (see pictures) $2 ships from China takes about 2 weeks (not bad from china) then a little of this about $4 here (ace hardware) and you can make alot for just a couple bucks I have about 50 of these left and plenty of sealant and I put a triple layer on to be safe

Nice! What do you search to find them on eBay ? Curing jars? Hygrometers? I freakin love diys and a tray of those would be perfect so I don't fuck up my harvests, (always had trouble getting the funk smell in the past) thanks a lot!
Hygrometer I thought about using thoes Chinese digi ones and poking a small pen size hole to drop the probe in shorten the wire then use a gourmet and sealant but I have not tested this yet they are about $2 aswell and as accurate as a $30 American one these analog can be slightly off but very close
I haven't came across the 2 dollar digital ones but I found some 7 dollar ones, and I found the analog ones for 2.75 shipped. Going to order 5-10 of those and if I can find 2$ digital ones I'll order those as well and try it out let ya know how it works, question... Do you use sealer on just the hole you cut for the hygrometer or do you put it on the ball jar lids themselves ?
I get it as tight as I can then run sealant half way up the hygrometer and about 1/4" away only from the top tho i dont use sealant on the underside give it 24hrs to dry but let it air a few weeks then seal it for a day and open and smell it prepare to burn your nose when u smell it without burning your nose or when it just smells like rubber it's dry leave it open once more to get rid of the rubber smell then it won't affect your buds then get a humidity pack and toss it it to check for leaks hahaha that sig is so old like 3-4+ years
