It depends on your applacation.
I have always been a BC Grow,Bloom, boost kinda guy but recently I have switched to Flora Nova series with flouralicious plus and flora blend (general hydroponics brand). I have to say it has almost doubled yeilds and taste. Flora Nova is thick stuff though and is not good for misting nozzles

umm well i dont believe in "best nutes" because diff companies have additives that are better than others.. also if you asked fdd2blk a mod on this forum he would tell you its a bunch of bullshit anyway..

keep in mind this plant is for lack of a better word a weed. it needs the same thing as every other plant on this planet which is N-P-K. if you want to go with the hype that advanced is the best because they test on cannabis then by all means spend a shit fuck ton of money on their stuff. if you believe GH is the best because nasa uses them than by all means. if you believe canna are the best because advanced wont compare against them then go get em! if you think fox farm is the best cuz its from the pot growing capitol of the US then farm away...

in my opinion the best nutes are the ones that you can mix and understand the best while providing a stable PH and ppm level for your plants.. advanced nutes with their 500 additives may be the best but if you dont know how to properly mix em than i could grow better out of my toilet by pissing on my plant any day of the week.

sorry to be so crude but what i am saying is that base nutes are not going to make a huge diff once you get into the upper eshelon (sp?) of nutrients and out of the walmart brands.. the diff is going to be with your skill of mixing and keeping it stable.

with that said i personally use the GH 3 part because i think it is as good as anything out there and when following the chart its pretty hard to fuck up... not to mention it is stable for the most part. I also use GH floralicious, cal mag plus, (since i use RO) as well as advanced nutrients big bud and overdrive because from my research they are some of the best boosters out there(cannot confirm since this is my first run with them).

if you do well with GH then use them and just try adding on different additives to give you a little boost... after all if it aint broke dont fix tha damn thing...

No offence but I disagree with this. Ill explain

Nutrients are classified in 2 ways Mobile and Immobile.

Moble nuts move freely around the plant as they are needed. If you have a nitrogen difficency, the lower leafs will release their nitrogen and move it to the upper leafs (clsoer to the light). The bottom leafs turn Yellow.

Immoble nuts never move and stay where they are.

Macronutrients are NPK
Nitrogen Potassium and phosphorous
Micro nuts are everything else

Nitrogen moble
Phosphorus moble
Potassium moble
Magnesium moble
Zink moble
calicum Immoble
boron Immoble
Chlorine Immoble
Cobalt Immoble
Copper Immoble
Iron Immoble
Manganese Immoble
Molybdenum Immoble
Selenium Immoble
Silicon Immoble
Sulfer Immoble

There are diffrences of opinion of what amounts of what are better or worse for plants hense the diffrent brands. I am friends with a couple owners of some of the companies mentioned here. The irony is some times people sell the same products with a diffrent brand name and people think one is better than the other when they are exactly the same. What is better and worse depends on the enviornment you grow in. Ohh and don't buy anything for hydroponic use at walmart and NEVER use miracle grow (burn).

technically speaking you are correct however that statement was used for sake of argument. my point was that any major brand that i mentioned is going to have the basic things that all plants need.. they all contain micro and macro nutes.. obviously they dont just have NPK otherwise they wouldnt work and the plants would die. also the plant are going to take up the nutes they need according to the osmotic pressure, ph balance, and salinity content. by having tons of excess nutes and special shit doesnt mean the plants are going to use em...
