Here's how it works guys.

We keep stock on hand based on sales volume. So, if a seed sells a lot, we keep a lot on hand. If it's a medium seller, we keep less. If we rarely sell it, we don't keep much at all because if we did, what would happen? Either, we have to trash a lot of old seeds & our prices would have to go up - or someone gets old stock & they're not very happy.

So, that means we don't mark anything as out of stock unless it means we can't get more in from our sources. We get our seeds from a network of wholesalers. Most but not all of our wholesalers give us a daily file that says whether or not each seed is in stock. Some are more accurate than others, but it also means that we have to have each suppliers stock codes in our system. That data entry is still a work in progress, but we're getting there.

Finally, Gorilla is trying to ship out as fast as they can. That means that if someone things it may take 4 or 5 days to get a seed in, they'll give you the option of choosing something else. If you don't want something else, then tell them you want to wait - it's not like you can't choose something else later.

And, since you guys are forum members and we're a forum sponsor, you can always get one of us to check to see whether our suppliers say your choice of seeds is in stock before you order. If you place an order, we'll even go in & put a note on it that you want the exact seeds you ordered or a refund just in case they sell out before your order process.

I, personally, don't want to see people settle for something they don't want, so take advantage of the fact that we're here if you do want to order & let us smooth the way for you.

I have had good results with the Gorilla myself, but it is not uncommon for seed banks to advertise that they have a strain in stock, u then pay for the strain, just to be notified that they are out, or just ran out, etc. They offer no refunds, so they have your money and now you have to pick out seeds that you really didn't want to buy. Just a way for the seed banks to trap off your money, most of them do it. Call them or email them before placing orders in future to make sure that things are how the appear on the site.
A refund is always an option with us - no matter how you pay.
We've even mailed cash back to people through registered mail.

And, again, you guys are welcome to PM us here if you have questions - or call, or email.
Sometimes, I have to get with our supplier to make sure about stock levels, so it could take a little time to get you a definite answer.

good to know, must be some of the other seed banks. I have no qualms with yall, like I said the gorilla hooked me up with exactly what i chose and it's going strong still. But there are some seed banks that do participate in this kinda of stuff, glad to hear the Gorilla isn't one of them.

Well, we make mistakes, but never on purpose - and we always try to make up for it.

I took a look at THC Bomb Regular Seeds, which is what I think were the seeds in question.
My file from Friday says, out of stock with no ETA for that seed.
Today, they have them back in stock and ready for us to order in.
It's funny how fast things change with popular seeds.

I have received my order. 140369. I would give Gorilla 3/5 points. Prompt delivery, decent customer service, but I wonder how well the website is being managed. Part of my order was for 10 THC bomb regular seeds, AFTER I made the payment a representative of Gorilla called me and told me that THC bomb was out of stock. This was alright, kind of. They offered me Super Iced Grapefruit, or a pack for a similar price in it's place. The problem is, there is no 10 packs of seeds around the same price as the THC bomb, so I opted to take the Super Iced Grapefruit. I have been checking up on their website periodically since the phone call, and THC bomb hasn't been marked out of stock yet...

Other than this issue, my experience with Gorilla was great and I will consider using their service again. Thanks Gorilla. =)

Update: I am currently being helped by Sherry. I sincerely doubt Gorilla was up to anything other than normal stock issues. I will update my review in a week or so.

yeah, i may have jumped to conclusions because I have haeard this same complaint quite a few times. So when i saw the post, i assumed that they be using similar tactics. I just was trying to put out some good info for the community, my bad for jumping to conclusions with the Gorilla. Shit when i made my order one of the seeds was crushed, i let them know, and they replaced it with 5! Now that's customer service. I will use them anytime I want something from a breeder I can't deal with one on one. I have their sticker proudly stuck to my 1000w light. I'm glad they sorted it out to your satisfaction. But from reading about others experience I would recommend calling, emailing, or something to make sure the stuff is in stock before u send money. Because most banks aren't like gorilla, they keep your money and tell u to pick something else.
peace and happy growing,

No cure, freshly dried and was smoking it when I snapped the pic
That looks really nice - I was looking all over the place for pictures for a few strains for that breeder over the summer.
I think they were putting them in the new version of the Big Book of Buds.
I'd have definitely asked if we could have used it - and you'd have gotten credit in the book for the photo with either your screen name or real name depending on what you wanted.

That would been cool! Stuff is OG all the way, super funky smell!

Just got the rest of my order today.
Have to say I'm damn impressed with the service.

A couple of things were missing from my initial order so they got them sent out the day after I enquired.

Then I got overcharged a little bit (not Gorilla's fault, fault of the company processing payment, who are apparently not being used in future because of this issue) so I asked about that and got a call saying I could either have my money back or about £60 in seeds instead!

Bloody brilliant. Will definitely be back in future!

Thanks everyone, especially Sherry & Bev at Gorilla who helped heaps on this occasion!

Um so its been about a week now and not a single bean has popped. Do you guys have a viablility warrenty or something? I planted my 5 auto ak, both cash crop, my west side og, and my ampethamine. Not a single bean has germed since. I soaked them in water for 24 hours. Planted into my root riot plugs, and they are now in my super sprouter propagation station with a heating pad to help induce germination. How long til they pop? Ive never waited this long for beans to pop.

We are resellers, not breeders, so we can't give you the kind of warranty you're looking for. In fact, in the UK, it would be illegal for us to do so. However, we like to take care of our forum friends, so I'm going to take this over to the PM system.

By the way, we'll take care of you guys by PM just as well as if you post publicly if you're in the need of help & don't want to share all the details. That's for everyone reading the thread - not you specifically.
