Cree and Vero are made in China lol
If you also read the video's comments one guy says something actually intelligent: you get what you pay for. Most Chinese companies produce good stuff when funded properly. What others don't know is how bad the LIES are with the lower end grow light market. I'm glad I read up before I got burnt because a lot of products heavily hyped online are not actually worth investing in.

Its hard to find something that was not manufactured in china these days. There is def a higher standard with the top companies. Cree emitters are nice because its little easier to justify paying top dollar for top bin CXBs with the binning they use. Nothing wrong with the Vero29 30E and 40E and they cheap and liked to be run hard:-)reliable.

B comes after A, just like the alphabet
Wow what a great answer! Now I remember why I stopped coming here. Ask a simple question and get trolled by little kids.
Since sunni deleted a few posts by me and purplebuz you can't see where purplebuz said he trolls people who don't read data sheets.

Which led light can compare to a 1k light.
I wouldn't rec one 800watt fixture to compete against a 1000hps. I would rec 4 200 to 250 watt fixtures so you can space evenly across canopy for better output control
CXB3590s and Vero29s with 90 to 120 watts to each emitter work very well

The only fixture that can compete with 1000hps that I know of(in production) is ApacheTech AT600 that greengenes did while back.
Only one I know of that's been proven side by side

Sorry, no name, Chinese LEDS sold on Ebay.......

And Does Cree supply info in regards to who is a legitimate seller? Or is it just safer to buy from an U.S. reseller? I've looked at Kingbrite and all I can think of when I read there alibaba page is a statement made by a pc parts supplier I dealt with when I had my business. he said and I quote: "sure, sure. you get best price."
then he promptly hung up...........

why wouldn't a well designed fixture equal a 1000 watt hps light? If the LEDs are capable of putting more photons into the same space evening with less heat, it would seem to me that the LED light should be superior. What am I missing?

Even coverage from proper spacing
In order to keep your #s from dropping drastically further out

My lights outperform hps and ApacheTech.
