Patient needs grower

As someone who does not live in Michigan, I am a bit confused? Dispensaries require memberships and are only supposed to care-give for 5 patients legally? When a patient becomes a member of a dispensary they sign over their plant counts to the dispensary and lose the right to grow?

no, nobody signs over anything and dispensary guidelines are up in the air.

I do and have. If you disagree that it costs less than $40/oz you're just a greedy asshole. I've offered my cancer patient top shelf ounces for $100 since 2008. I've been growing for over 10 years. Cannabis does not cost more than $40 per oz to produce. Do you think it costs more? If so, you're doing it all wrong. I can yield 2 lbs from one 1000w light.

one month Veg using 400w on 24hours per day = $41
two month flower cycle using 1000w = $100
misc electricity for couple fans = $50
clones - free
nutrients/soil. I buy all my soil from Morgan Composting in northern michigan for $1/ gallon of mix. Their soil has all the nutrients in it already, just add water. I usually buy 1000 gallons at a time. 4 plants in 10 gallon pots = 40 gallons soil = $40 in nutrients/soil.

total cost= 41+100+50+40= <$250
32oz / $250 = $7/oz

if you're a mediocre grower and only yield 1lb/ 1000w, then your total cost per oz doubles to $14/oz

I grow outdoors in a greenhouse now. My cost of operation is even LESS than $7/oz.

I am the person who is claiming greed to "caregivers" who think they must charge $150 or more to disabled vets and cancer patients.

I think I'm giving it more than a 'whirl' buddy. 6 blue dreams on left. 6 gorilla glue #4s on right.

Morgan spam: I have nothign to do with the company. I just purchased their soil and this is the results. No need to hate.
You're Amazing, like very impressive...

So when you brag about how you supposedly produce herb for 7$/oz [OR LESS] ;-) I notice how you don't include: rent/mortgage, risk/legal fees, materials, taxes, insurance and time/labor. next time try coming up with an accurate number, dipshit.

And when you say you can produce it at $7 an ounce yet charge $100 and you got the nerve to say others are greedy. I am all for charging whatever you got to but dont sit and call everyone else greedy and then have over a 900 percent markup and act like you are the savior. Plus what Abe said...........

Assumptions have been made by you two. You fail to understand that these patients also receive a free allotment per month and the fee is only after a certain amount. Nice try though.

The $7/oz thing is an example for what a single patient can do within his or her own space, maybe using a closet.

How can I put a number on rent? It uses 5% of my living space and my rent is $600. 5% of 600 comes out to $30
Taxes? real estate tax is included in rent cost. There is no federal model to collect taxes for cannabis. Our legislature is currently working(maybe) on a model for our state.
Labor- it's something I was already doing so it's no sweat. It's more of a hobby and this is not 'work'. I have a full time job which is how I sustain myself.

Dont be mad cause you charge too much, dipshit

It is not exactly DD but an amended mix that MC makes using DD as the base. It's called Fall mix #3 and it's designed for flowering cannabis plants. Other than that, I have only added aerated guano tea, once a week for the first 8 weeks.

once you have all the equipment and room set up, should last years
only need to replace filter and hps bulb every 18 mouths (cost about £150 max ) you pull a crop for less than £80 including electric, soil and nutes under a 600w hps

@Bradd57 There is a difference between a caregiver and a dope dealer.

You can't make enough money off of 10 plants out of 12 to make the money up,I would need 3 ozs out of two plants and the grower takes his 10 and lets them grow to make more then two ozs off each. How is there no profit in that? I know 2 caregivers here that grow for 5 people and they both give their patients 2 ozs a month and sell the rest to a dispensary in Kalamazoo and pay all their bills with it. Unfortunately they both have a long waiting list if patients.
These are caregivers.

Between my 2 35k btu ac's my 12 phantom ballests hoods, liquid cooled co2 burner 1hp chiller fans pumps electrical service and panels & nutes not to mention other non mentioned things that nickel and dime you, yes it's close to 30k

Sawse!
This is a dope dealer. They do not deserve any respect.

They are only in it for the money.

Some of these posters should be on that other thread "Patient Needs A Dope Dealer".

If I had room I'd take you on but I'm full. Good luck in finding a real caregiver.
