High temperature growing

Hey guys,

Quick question:

I cant get my room temps below 32 celsius (90 fahrenheit) with the light on (80cm x 80cm x 180cm) tent, using 600w(275 true watt) LED with no plants inside yet.

I have passive intake and 4" out take.

Humidity levels are fine.

Done my own research and seems like they can cope with upto 35 celsius or 95 fahrenheit.

Just wondering if anyone has any personal experience with growing at higher temps and maybe any advice to give?

Will my plants still grow ok?

Double your exhausts out and triple your passive intake.
You need to get max temps down below 85*f for successful growing.

Reason I'm asking is because there is a link between growing and flowering at high temps and thc production

No worries.

You can maintain canopy level temps around 90f or so
Root zone in the 60's
And ambient temps around 70's

Ok so canopy maxed out at about 91.5

Ambiet was around 89.5

and root was 89

Is there anyway for you to just dispose of the tent and grow in an open space.

Tents tend to be mobile furnaces

Nope not a chance

Obviously getting the temps lower would be ideal but if you cannot for whatever reason using silica will help your plants deal with environmental stress.

ive heard about silica before, how would i use it? I am planning to do one feed with nutes and one without and carry on like that, would i add it to my nute feed or just my plain ph'd water feed?

I add it to my reg water feed. But youre gonna wanna have some vinegar or other form of ph down since silica is really alkaline

Ok ill add some of that then, i have my ph up and down bottles ready. So would you say its viable for me to do a grow or is it just not worth the time and effort with those temps?

If you're out of options to cool it, then maybe co2? 90 (ish) is still possibly a little high even with co2. Maybe an Exhale bag?

I wouldn't waste your time.
It's just too hot.
It's going to cause you too many problems.
