Great post half of the shit going on is from Isis and other militant groups are USA MADE trained by the USA armed by the USA and what has happened it back fired ..
USA has a shit load of enemies look at kadaffi for instance he was actually a good man but everyone thinks he is evil and once a US allie and how did his death happen ???
simple all about oil he gave to his country free housing , free schooling university lots
but his plan was to make a currency in gold this meant USA notes were fuckin useless so instead of buying the oil in usa notes usa would of had to buy oil in gold currency
Well shit you know and i know USA could not do this you know instead of paying at that time 90 bucks a barrel it would of cost USA 180 bucks a barrel wow huh
So again plans were set back up the gorillas with arms support them and kill kadafi

And you wonder why USA has so many enemies
I know all too well.

How is it an outside judgment of justice? I never once implied I support slaughtering millions of people and neither did the context of my argument. I generally stated that I don't support sitting back and letting cruel and evil shit happen to many innocent people, NO MATTER THEIR GEOGRAPHICAL ORIGIN. Just look at the disrespect you and fog show in your replies. You are so gung-ho ready to extend my argument to absurd proportions and then criticize the result as if it were my original argument. You think you'd know what to do about world problems but you can't even be mature enough to not degrade people you've never even met. This is the part where you revert back to my original post to reemphasize how absurd your extension of my own argument is because you can't find a way to legitimately justify your lack of kindness towards a person with a different stance of your own. But of course, everybody must think as you do or face the consequence of being politically incorrect. That's the only explanation, seeing how this is the first semi-personal interaction I've had with you. Oh, and this is the part where youre thinking back to how ridiculous my argument *seemed* to you. I challenge you to reply in a more mature and respectful manner, if you're capable.
So, I only saw a rambling "this is what I think" statement. I saw no argument in that paragraph nor do I see one in the above. You are now whining about being disrespected. That's true, I disrespected you in my reply. OK, so give me something to respect. You wrote:

"Reference brutal executions, including children, publically. I suppose I am on the stern side of the spectrum to most. There's abundant evil out there that no one, including myself, can possibly comprehend without first experiencing it. I support a moral obligation to do something about it and treat it with a most serious attitude. Instead of having a "we should just stay out of it" attitude."

What are you proposing we do when you say "to do something about it" and to not have a "we should stay out of it" attitude. Don't ramble, be specific. I'll say right now that I think we should stay the hell out but I'm willing to hear out a well thought out argument otherwise.

Bombing a population has never resulted in the surrender of a foe. Ironically, bombing unifies a population against the remote aggressor and makes it a propaganda tool for the very force you intend to defeat.

I ask what is the objective? I know that Bin Laden wasn't killed in a drone strike but did his death stop the terrorists? After almost eight years of drone strikes authorized by Obama stopped it? The rain of drone strikes on targets in the middle east has outraged the population and given them reason to hate the US. The situation is worse now than it was eight years ago. If the objective was to enact justice and carry out capital punishment then maybe we can say that its working but there are a lot of civilian casualties. What kind of justice is that? If the objective is to defeat terrorists, it looks more like pouring gasoline on the fire rather than water.

This is an example: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/brian-glyn-williams/the-slaughter-of-a-weddin_b_4595274.html

" the question that needs to be asked is: Was the killing of one mid-level operative and a handful of other low ranking terrorists worth the "collateral damage" in lives (and to American strategic interests in Yemen and the world) that would surely ensue from the potential death of civilian bystanders? And were those "9 to twelve" men killed in the convoy really terrorists as the U.S. official claimed?"

The internet is drenched with reports, some true, some false about these drone strikes. These strikes give terrorists a powerful propaganda weapon and for what? A handful of dead enemies another handful of dead bystanders and millions of enraged people. There is no such thing as a limited war.

Like I said, Obama's support for this drives me nuts. Otherwise, I think he was/is a good president. I hope the next Democrat we put in that office turns this program off. I'm downright certain a GOP president will expand it. Bombs are good for business.

Excuse me, Today a population that surrendered to population bombing and Battleship gunfire, remembers Hiroshima and Nagasaki...and the guns from the sea at Kamaishi by TU34.8.1 Battleship column.

Because our 'defense' industry richly pays everyone on both sides of the aisle, the simple fact is that America has turned itself into a perpetual war machine. This approach to diplomacy has its limits, and your analysis above is an excellent illustration of how.

We need to end the deluge of corporate cash into our political system or it will be the end of us as a people,a nation and as a modern global civilization.

I agree. I'm kind of curious where DoubleJ is going with his query into whether or not I'm a veteran. We may get an entirely different perspective on this.

We had driven the Japanese back to their homeland, broken, decimated and surrounded. We told them that if they did not surrender, we would invade and kill millions of them... AND keep nuking them. We even showed them the very serious preparations we were making for just that objective.

Lest you say we had no boots on the ground, I can show you MILLIONS of WWII combat veterans. And their graves.

Try again, next time after you read your history.

instead of putting someone into office that does fuck all for change uses his military power / invade other countries to force other countries to change
May be its time instead of force , trump can work it into a business side of things a ++ for both ends rather then losing money going to war with nother country
I SAY TRUMP all the way he is saying it like it is and does not give a fuck raciest or not he gots balls
and deep down everyone here knows he is right with all the spics illegal immigrants etc time to close the doors kick them fucks out and rebuild USA[/QUOTE]
You don't think all those people are ready to kill themselves to attack Americans are doing it for kicks and grins, do you? They didn't just magically appear from madrassas (Islamic religious schools) angry and ready to die?

No, it's because Americans from government to corporate have been abusing people around the world with near complete impunity for the last half century, and it's coming back to bite us. From CIA destabilization ops to American arms sales to corporate shenanigans to abuses under the auspices of the World Bank... and the list is endless and bloody... I mean, WTF do you think 'world cop' is making the rest of the world safe FOR, if not for American interests to exploit it?

Tl:dr? Maybe if we didn't start so many wars, we wouldn't have quite so many enemies out there willing to finish them.
We definitely are not good cops. Better than some maybe, but we have not been sensitive enough to the affect of our actions on the people in regions of conflict.

I'm not a veteran, either. I volunteered for the Army at 18 but there wasn't a pressing need for live bodies at the time, so they rejected me for poor eyesight- even corrected fine with eyeglasses.

I knew that I needed discipline and training. I would have thrived. On the other hand, I'm not a casualty.

I respect those who serve a great deal. Our pseudo economy of perpetual warfare asks far too much of them and returns far too little support later.

So the bombing of Nagasaki and Hiroshima didn`t cause the Japs to surrender ? Or ...Are you saying Nagasaki and Hiroshima were military targets ?

I thought Kamaishi was a military target, didn`t know Nagasaki and Hiroshima were too,...thanks for the correction......

Actually, I really don`t know what the fuck you just said, but I know it`s BS. Japan surrendered only because of the two A-bomb strikes....Both population non military.

Because there were many times in Vietnam laying in a foxhole as the mortar shells rained down, I sure as hell wished we had drones.....
Drones for ground support are just now entering service. Drones for replacing the troops themselves are coming along nicely, too.

Somehow that doesn't make me sleep any better.

You are well spoken and I was really curious where you were going with that. Thanks for the reply.

As I said, I don't believe in limited war. Our leaders during the Vietnam war limited our force while the VC went all out. Your perspective indicates just how "limited" that war was. I wish we had drones then too. Drones wouldn't have replaced men in the field but it sure would have helped.

You and I are of the same generation. I want to say something that does not reflect well on me. The returning vets from Vietnam were not given the respect they were due when they returned and this caused real hardship for some. I was one of the ignorant that confused protest of the war with those that served. I never said anything untoward but I did not at that time give a returning vet his due respect. I regret that. So let me say now, even though its way too late, thanks for your service.
