Go to a fabric sale or even get some old shirts or go to a goodwill store for the material. A fabric store perhaps?
Then you cut out a bunch of squares and cut them with pinking sheers so they don't frail
cause if you buy them at the store like petsmart you'll pay a fortune. 
I have thousands of yards of fabric and I am not exaggerating. i'm a seamstress
If you lived close by i would make you some of them.

I think I know someone you'd get along well with. My sister is always making something... no exaggeration. Knitting, sewing, quilting... she's just mad for it. I can't believe I am into sewing. its only because I love my little dogs so much and got my first sewing machine when I bought them. Now I sew everything for them.
I hate knitting. quilting???
my mother-in-law does that.
she's really good at it too
Now cooking and baking ....love it.

When I was young the old lady got a free Singer Sewing course..she got sick...guess you took it.....................................................................

I sewed up a laceration on my hand last week...Thats so sweet twisty. I don't know many men willing to sew.

i have done that before but only 3 stitches.
once you cut yourself like that, it hurts anyway.
