Greetings RIU,
I am new to these forums and wanted to start out by showing my latest project inspired by my BML Spydr 600, SupraSPL's threads as well as Greengene's latest fixtures.
Project Goals:
LEDs: (16) cree xml2 3000K running on (2) MW LPC60-1750
(12) 3w Luxeon deep red
(6) Cree CXA3070 4000k running on a HLG120c700b
I began the project with a 36" 6061 Aluminum bar ($30) from: onlinemetals.com
Here is a picture of the bar with an access panel cut to install the drivers
Here is the top view with a 24" front panel for a computer server ($14) local shop
Bottom side for (4) 50mm fans from ebay ($5 ea)
I painted the control bar with an anodized look alike paint from auto zone to match the look of the spydr.
one of the 4 strips with 4 xml2's and 3 deep reds
This is about as far as I have gone with the project, so if there is interest in the thread, I will continue to post pictures and keep everyone updated.
Thanks

Project Goals:
- create an attractive fixture that will look at home next to a BML spyder
- achieve high lumen per watt efficiency with a balanced spectrum
- achieve a 1.25-1.5 g/w yield out of a 4x4 space
LEDs: (16) cree xml2 3000K running on (2) MW LPC60-1750
(12) 3w Luxeon deep red
